Appreciated the launderette on site as had been travelling for a couple of weeks.   Outstanding stay. Check in was awesome with great assitance from Pedro. Worked with us and got us a great upgrade with river view with only a $14 fee. He was helpful and energetic. The room although small had amenities not found in any other Chicago Hotels I have stayed in. Comfortable beds, accessable lighting, great dining area with turn out tab... wat mensen zeggen » le. Was the most enjouable stay I have had in Chicago and I have stayed in over 2 dozen hotels some 3 times the price. - Everything! This place was a truly pleasant surprise. I booked the smaller room, which was just perfect for 1 person. I loved the 2nd floor club area, with tons of seating, office type space and a fantastic espresso/cappuccino machine. Oddly, my favorite perk was the bottled water available on each floor. Staff were incredibly helpful. I also appreciated the automated check out process from machines in the lobby. Will def. Stay here again, next time in Chicago.

  Well kept. Atmosphere was swanky. Enjoyed the "wine hour". We're a little older than the young crowd that seemed to dominate the guest list which provided some interesting people/dog watching during the wine hour. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was snowing out and they let me borrow an umbrella for free.

  I loved the comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the room and overall cleanliness of the hotel. The staff, especially at the concierge desk, was very knowledgable and extremely friendly. Location couldn't have been better. - The room was spacious. The staff graciously moved us to another floor when ours became noisy because of high schoolers that were there for some music competition. The breakfast bar was wonderful.   I liked the views of the lake...they were exquisite. The room was large and comfortable including a minibar and a little kitchenette (sink only). The closet was spacious and the shower head had good pressure. The whole bathroom was really nice. Also, I like the fact that as a guest I have full access to the exercise and locker room facilities. Overall, I was happy with my stay and I would sta - Good location and great view (you can actually see the lake) for $129 a single night made it a bang for buck. The rooms are on the top floor (40th) while the lover levels are offices of different banks. Just thinking about taking a shower above a corner room makes you smile:) Incusive and decent breakfast of my european standard.
