  The front desk staff was attentive and knowledgable. Claire was especially helpful. The bell staff and concierge were awesome. Paul Taylor and Gabriel were so helpful. Steered us towards great restaurants and looked after us during the whole stay. This will be the only hotel we will stay at downtown! It's good if you want to see the city, stay at a comfortable hotel, and get a good price for it. Hotels in the loop are generally expensive. I got caught up on some much-needed sleep. The breakfast was delish - especially the country gravy with sausage! Also, they had a pancake maker that was fun to use. The concierge gave me some good restaurant recommendations and knew the immediate area well.

  Outstanding stay. Check in was awesome with great assitance from Pedro. Worked with us and got us a great upgrade with river view with only a $14 fee. He was helpful and energetic. The room although small had amenities not found in any other Chicago Hotels I have stayed in. Comfortable beds, accessable lighting, great dining area with turn out tab... wat mensen zeggen » le. Was the most enjouable stay I have had in Chicago and I have stayed in over 2 dozen hotels some 3 times the price. - Everything! This place was a truly pleasant surprise. I booked the smaller room, which was just perfect for 1 person. I loved the 2nd floor club area, with tons of seating, office type space and a fantastic espresso/cappuccino machine. Oddly, my favorite perk was the bottled water available on each floor. Staff were incredibly helpful. I also appreciated the automated check out process from machines in the lobby. Will def. Stay here again, next time in Chicago.

  I loved the comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the room and overall cleanliness of the hotel. The staff, especially at the concierge desk, was very knowledgable and extremely friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and really convenient in the morning before going sightseeing. Had a great variety of food and drink. Overall, great place to stay w... wat mensen zeggen » hen in Chicago. Location couldn't have been better. - The room was spacious. The staff graciously moved us to another floor when ours became noisy because of high schoolers that were there for some music competition. The breakfast bar was wonderful. Lots of good food, hot and cold and plenty of seating.We also liked seeing the skyline from out 12th floor window.

  Loved Chicago from the Navy Pier to the museums,the variety of entertainment, the walk-ability of the city, Millennium park, loved it all. The bed was comfortable, and the bed linens were good quality and soft. The room was nicely furnished except for a strange plastic, snake-skin covered wing back chair. The bathroom was nice, but the vanity is... wat mensen zeggen » too small to accommodate toiletries well, and there's no where else to set them except in the floor. A table or another place for toiletries would h - Hotel Sax was right in Marina City. There was a little grocery store close by. Several restuarants within walking distance including Chicago's House of Blues and Dick's last resort. I was great to walk just a few steps and look at the Chicago river flowing by. I loved and and will go there again.
