This is a good location if you want to visit Marina District. If you
want to go to the Golden Gate for instance. We actually rent bikes and
from the hotel we could go to the golden gate, the road was stunning. We
also could reach downtown through the embarcadero st which is also very
nice. You can also visit alcatraz. There are buses around. Many

Great location - can walk to Marina, Fort Mason, Fishermann's Wharf,
Pier 39, Coit Tower, crookedest street near the bus stop 28 to the
Golden Gate Bridge. Quiet and pleasant place to walk alone even at
night, near the Marina and Fort Mason where there are always people
playing sports and running. Has a Safeway supermarket where we buy food
ready. Staff - Mei was very friendly and helpful and gave valuable tips
on what to do in sf. Room - clean, spacious, with tv, kitchen (fridge,

Bereikbaarheid en ligging is in orde. Parkeerfaciliteiten ook ok. Ten opzichte van andere motels in de buurt is prijs/kwaliteit in orde, maar SFO blijft een dure overnachtingsstad. - Voorzieningen dik in orde. Op goede locatie gelegen. Kamers metname het tapijt was erg vuil. Afgezien daarvan werd de kamer wel netjes bijgehouden.

Good budget-friendly hotel. We stayed for 2 days & walked or bussed
the whole time. Very central location to everything. We walked from the
hotel to Pier 39/Fisherman's Warf, Chinatown, North Beach, Union
Square, then would take the bus back. We did this with a 5 year old
& a 2 year old. The rooms were clean & tidy with plenty of
space. I would definitely stay here again.

It looks a bit run down on the outside, but inside the rooms have been renovated and are very nice indeed: meticulously clean, very comfortable. There was a fridge and a microwave in ours, very handy. Spotless bathroom. Free (ample) parking in SF is invaluable. Location is very good too, just a very short walk off the lively Union street, convenient for buses... Overall, definitely recommended, we'll stay there again if we're ever in the area.

I had a room that was large and very clean. Frig and microwave in room. It was easy access to the street, and I love this area of San Francisco. Close to Palace of Fine Arts, the Marina and shopping on Chestnut St. If the price is as competitive next year as this year when I visit San Francisco, I will definitely stay there.

Everything was excellent! I have stayed in hotels price much higher that were no where near as nice as this one! It wasn't a luxury hotel of course, but as a home base for a city trip I couldn't ask for more. The staff was very good, the location was great, the room was very basic
but clean. This is a funky old art deco style motor hotel that is
maintained to accommodate budget travelers-don't expect valet
parking, or luxury amenities, but do enjoy the no frills quick check in,
working ice/pop machines, in room coffee, and cable tv. And they
have smoking rooms if you are so inclined.

Good and a clean place for the money.
The staff were courteous and it is a simple and an inexpensive place to stay if you want something on a low budget. Walking distance to movies, and great ethnic asian cuisine. -
I liked that is was pet friendly at no extra charge. Once we got the

There is no negative thing i would mention.
The room was new and clean. Breakfest ok. Really good position of the hotel is just perfect (about 10min to the Town Hall)! The park place is small but all the guests found a place while we were there.
And finally yes, there are some homeless people arround the hotel, but we didn´t feel uncomfortable or
