It was terrific. Staff very very welcoming and friendly. Facilities (like the coffee station and free WiFi) were excellent. Breakfast was great - loads of choice and the packed breakfast option was really of benefit on the morning I had to leave the hotel early. Location was terrific to see all the sights of DC. The common areas were quite comfortable and spacious. Rachel in the breakfast area was very polite and efficient. She could have used some help from additional staff on Sunday morning. On Monday, the manager was assisting her with keeping up with the food demands of the guests. The rooms were spacious, quiet and very comfortable.

Rooms were excellent! Beautiful decor and we really liked having classical music playing softly through a Bose system as we've entered our room every night.

The Staff!!! Could not be more gracious without being intrusive...always professional, friendly and available. These folks know how to treat their guests!
Food was delicious. We dined in the Lafayette at least three times and in the lower bar late one evening.
The room, which was upgraded, was lovely, quiet and everything was fresh and clean.

Our experience exceeded our expectations. We thought all of your staff
were very well trained to be friendly to guests. We were there for a
marathon and didn't have dressy clothing and when we had friends
join us in the bar area one evening, we were somewhat underdressed, but

We thoiught the staff were - to a person - friendly, helpful, charming and really seemed to go out of their way to help us. The kids loved the St. Regis bags they received. There was a slight problem with our booking which was sorted out in a timely and efficient manner - everyone - from the concierge staff to the reception people were friendly and charming! Well done to all of them! WE will DEFINITELY be back!

location (a bit closer to White House would mean sleeping in a tent on their lawn :) ), when staying on Executive level you have access to the Executive Lounge - basic drinks and fresh fruit during the day - very convinient because you don't have to be just in the room when in a hotel, staff very kind and trying to help -

the lobby is beautiful and there are interesting facts about the history of the hotel posted in many places. the location is ideal. one of the maids thanked us in writing for our tip and asked that God bless our family. we were very touched by this gesture. room service was very fast and the bell hops are very helpful. -

Everything!!! The hotel had a great location, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, great value for money (compared to the other hotels we used on our 5 week holiday in the US) and the room was well set-out, clean and very comfortable. I didn't what to leave.....this hotel is a 10 out of 10. Keep up the great work.... -

We were able to walk to dinner and home from the theater, and in the morning took a stroll by the White House. Awesome!

The one bedroom suite we had was well appointed, appealing and
comfortable. The price was reasonable and the location was wonderfully
close to the attractions we wanted to see. The rooftop courtyard was a
nice bonus - we could see a number of recognizable memorials /
attractions from it. The parking took a couple fo turns around the block
before I identified it, but the parking staff were excellent. Also, the
parking price was one of the best for the accomodations I considered.

We were stollen at Georgetown and the staff of the hotel was very kind and helpful. They have called the police, who came to the hotel and at the end of the day, when we arrived to the room, we had a very kind note offering a bottle of wine and some fruit. We loved the beautiful, tasteful decor and peaceful ambiance of the public areas of this hotel. These areas included an excellent restaurant and bar and a lovely reading room. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. The spa was fabulous. Three of our party had a massage, and each of us was pleased with the experience. The room was quiet and nicely appointed, although not as luxurious as some other five star hotels we've stayed in.

De prachtige suite die wij kregen ipv de standaardkamer die wij geboekt hadden. De sfeer in het hotel en het vriendelijke personeel. - Prima sfeer in dit compacte hotel en prima plek om Washington te bezoeken. Ruime kamer en erg hulpvaardig personeel. Wij komen zeker terug.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of and value at the restaurant. Great food at reasonable prices. My husband was able to order a couple of specialty beers that he really enjoyed. Our server - Shannon was very friendly, he really made our two meals there a delight. Thank you. -
