Pros: Hayes Valley/Alamo Sq location; friendly staff (Venice & Alex at night; Manager Michael by day -- all very attentive/helpful); cleanliness (spare, but clean linens -- and zipped mattress cover that would make it tough for bed bugs to hunker down -- shared bathrooms very tidy); volume discount (price for st... wat mensen zeggen » andard double room dips to $55 at 3+ nights). At first additional $6/day for Wifi irked me, but then it made sense. Not everyone needs Wifi -- and, wi - I very much enjoyed my stay at Casa Loma and would recommended to everyone on a thigh budget. The only thing I've missed was a kettle as there was a small little fridge in a room ans missed my morning coffees as hell! :( There is a vending machine within hotel premisses but make sure that you always have enough change or otherwise you will walk for miles to get cup of tea!
