  I thought the hotel was beautiful, if I stay there again I'd try to upgrade to a balcony room. It was summer so the area was off-season and very quiet. The pool was wonderful and the courtyard was a great place to sit and relax. - The main lobby's decor was very welcoming.   Staff was very helpful-provided great advice about a hike. Location was perfect; close to everything we wanted to do. The price was reasonable for the ski resort location. - Loved the staff and the owner is involved. My kids loved it also which counts. Close to Killington, deli market and restaurants:)

  Being greeted at the door was just the beginning of a wonderful stay in a beautiful mountain inn . Hospitality was beyond anywhere else we have ever stayed . Beautifully decorated inn and upscale gift shop . The pool area and grounds well maintained and adorned with flowers . The hospitality was amazing and not something you see these days. Looking forward to returning som - Steve, the Inn owner and Otto went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Provided maps and directions on request.   So i recently stayed at the butternut inn for 3 nights for some early season skiing. Aside from the price being more than affordable, the room was clean, and the free breakfast was delicious.   I didn't like letsbookhotel.com. According to your website, there was "only one left" of the room I booked. When I called the hotel to confirm my room, they said my card was declined and they didn't book the room... But there were plenty of available rooms that I could book now. So I did book the room, and I used the same card and was not declined... wat mensen zeggen » . But I paid letsbookhotel.com $23 for this service and they didnt do anything but almost screw me over. - The owner is very accommading. The lounge with stone fireplace, old wooden beams and antique funiture and tools on the wall make this place a cozy and relaxing place to unwine. Full hot breakfast with choices.

We were surrounded by trees and fell asleep to the sounds of the bubbling stream right behind the house. Breakfast was wonderful - cooked to perfection. Mike took us on a small hike, which was breathtaking. - There just can't be a better place with comparable hospitality near Killington.   I loved the fact that it felt like I went to my vacation home and not a hotel. I had all the cooking supplies right there. There was a ski shop in the basement. Great location to skiing. The shuttle was right there. The people were so cool.
