  We spent 1 night during our honeymoon at the Redbury. It's a pretty large and very trendy hotel at a great location by the Walk of Fame. Easy access to restaurants, bars and museums. There's also a large outside bar in the hotel which seems to be a popular spot (that also means a lot of noise at night but we were prepared for that).   I was attending a classic movie festival and felt safe walking in the neighbourhood alone, even at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing information and printing my boarding passes. The location was superb - close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, theatres and shopping. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast had lots... wat mensen zeggen » of different choices including eggs, waffles, fruit, yogourt, bagels and pastries. - great location, when we left, just got on 101 northbound and we were in the valley -- cut of at least 1/2 - 1hour of travel time. Generally clean, comfortable, ok breakfast, free Wifi, and Parking. All major pluses -- we will probably stay again --- because of good price and location. Found wonderful Thai restaurant on corner near hotel.

  Good location on Hollywood Boulevard with a metro station right on the corner and a Supermarket and great little Thai Noodle restaurant across the street made this an ideal spot for our few days in LA. Staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of parking for the car. Very happy with our stay. - Great location-right... wat mensen zeggen » beside the metro station.   How could we not love our spectacular suite! Although our luxury King room on the 19th floor with views over the Hollywood hills was lovely and we would stay in this room type again, we upgraded to the breathtaking 2100 sq foot "panorama suite" on the 20th floor with a 270 degree panoramic view of the entire city and the beautiful Hollywood Hills.... wat mensen zeggen » The staff was absolutely wonderful from check in to check out and all encounters in between. Manager Steven was the crowning jewel amongst the staff - 1. We initially booked the deluxe double room however it was quite cramp and small. The next day we upgraded to a Junior suite which had a king size bed and a sofa bed (queen size probably?) which was very spacious. 2. Located in the heart of Hollywood. Connected to Hollywood/Highland Centre (one of the best spots to view the Hollywood sign) and right next to the Hollywood/Highland Red Line metro station. One metro stop from Universal City and a very short walk to the star walk, TCL theatre etc
