  Hotel location was excellent. Motel is not modern buy very clean, spacious and bed very comfortable. We were lucky with the wheather in october. 24 C for 2 days. Because of the US Federal Shutdown, the Parks were closed but we decided to walk the beautiful trails up to Cadillac Mountain - 4 miles up and 4 miles down. Bathroom was well-stocked and functioned well. The free Wi-Fi was great and the motel is very easy walking distance to everything in downtown Bar Harbor.

  We loved everything about the Robbins Motel! We stayed here for two nights and it was perfect for what we were looking for. We hiked all day at Acadia and this was a perfect place to come back to. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was just minutes away from Acadia National Park and all the shops and restaurants in Bar Harb... wat mensen zeggen » or. We will be staying here again when we come back to visit! - My boyfriend and I arrived much later than we anticipated, well after office hours. But the friendly staff left a note on the door with our room number which was left unlocked for us. Allowing us to rest and check- in and pay in the morning. Very friendly and hospitable staff.

  Our rooms were very large with great toiletry amenities. The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes ride to Acadia Visitor Center and to the restaurants, shopping and pier. The big indoor pool with the hot tub was a great addition to relax after a long day of hiking. There is also an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it. Tasty cookies were served at the lobby in the afternoons, they were great addition. - The staff at the hotel were great. The view out of the window in our room or in the great room were worth the price of the stay. The evenings had a pianist with fingers that danced across the keys stimulating memories of yesterday. Both of the pools were spectacular with the indoor pool area reminiscent of scenes from Cocoon. The view from the Looking Glass has to be the best view in the area.

  My husband and I really had a great time at Mira Monte and would for sure go back if we visit bar harbor again which I hope will be sooner than later. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was super yummy, and we really loved our room. What I also liked about Mira Monte was if you wanted you could mingle with other guests or you could have you priv - The Victorian flavor of the house is perfect, right down to the antiques and decorations, our bathroom was updated and the little porch off the room was a nice surprise, as was the gas fireplace! The owner held a wine & cheese gathering before we left for dinner each night and entertained us with stories about the town and its history. Breakfast buffet was incredible with so many choices, including gluten free items! The walk to town was so close too. We loved it!

  I have stayed at Anne's White Columnns many times. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!! Bob, is a wonderful host and Anne is an amazing cook!!! We thoroughly enjoyed Dylan this year and Andie took great care of us too. The intimacy with the other travellers is also such a pleasure, during breakfast and wine and cheese social time in the eve... wat mensen zeggen » ning, because of the size of the accomodations. In a brief summary..."a relaxing treasure." See you next year... God willing. :) - We appreciate the design of the inn both regarding the living spaces and the bedroom. The heritage of the "good old day" is clear as well as the good taste of the owners Bob and Ann. We required a special meal for breakfasr given my intolerance to gluten and Bob prepared us personalized meals with no extra charge. Good place to relax, also very close to Bar Harbor downtown and the bus stop to Acadia National Park. HIghly recommended.
