This is a great hotel for booking a budget room that you can trust
to be clean, in good working order, but no frills. I would
recommend this to anyone who needs a good place to rest, but
isn't expecting to vacation at their hotel. The decor is dated
and the "breakfast" is more of a morning snack. But
again, for a budget friendly place to sleep, it doesn't get
much better than this.
I stayed their for the Memorial Day weekend , for Rolling Thunder. The hotel was a little older, but it was very,very clean. Don't expect a lot of thrills. Another thing its in a great location. The Lincoln Memorial 3.4 miles away. I would definitely stay their again.alle beoordelingen »
Quiet location with restaurants, supermarkerts and coffee shops within easy walking distance.
Metro also within 15 min walk, only 5 min ride to Washington proper.
The location was good due o not being in the centre of Washington, but access to the centre was relatively easy.
Road access/location was very good.
It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was helpful regarding surrounding areas for food, banks, etc..

Windows in the room don´t open. So had to run aircon non stop or else the room got very stuffy. Extractor fan in the bathroom not sufficient.

Missing the wall unit to hang our clothes, so had to hang off the light
on the wall. Notified the staff but didnt correct it. Breakfast
wasn't the best, but quick bite to tide us over.
We were told that breakfast was included with our room. I hardly call packaged muffins and packaged Danish a couple of apples and coffee breakfast. Why didn't they offer cereal as well as toast and maybe English muffins. That would have been much better.
It's a bit far from the touristic areas and there's no metro
nearby. Busses come often though. Breakfast could use some improvement.
Some bread would be nice.

We wanted to print out a 2-page document but the front desk did not have access to the printer. This was unexpected and unusual.
Not notified of car lights being left on because no info taken regarding
guest cars. I had to pay additional $54.00 to get assistance.

The wifi did not work perfectly in the room I stayed.
The location is on a hill.It's a steep hill.There's no
bathroom on the lobby 1st.The back entrance door is not always lock.If
you don't get a parking spot,you may have to park your car on the
hotel premises but on the hill,though.The wifi is not that great.No
iron but they will supply one to you.It's more for foreigners
& college people.
No decaf coffee served in am. No decaf tea available either. WiFi signal very poor. Out of date tourist magazine in lobby. Morning of 4/2/13 only blueberry muffin and apple juice available. 4/3 & 4/13 many more choices.No hair dryer in bathroom.
I booked online and had to pay about $12 more than the online charge. A
friend booked by phone after I told her where I would be staying, and
she paid $20 less than I had to pay. For this reason, I don't plan
to return to this hotel.
Room 103 - room was not ready for checkin at 4:30 pm, so we had to wait
for a while. Beds were not queen size, they were full size, which made
it a little cramped for a couple. The small refrigerator in the room was
extremely noisy and made it difficult to fall asleep, with a dripping
sound and rattle, but we couldn't turn it off because of items that
needed to stay cold.

Poor Breakfast.The window in the room did not work, a strange unpleasant
smell in the room. In the bathroom on the floor crawling ants. Far from

Dirty towel on bath floor, dental floss on bed floor, talking voices all night till 6' heating system very loud, literal hole in bath.. For real.
Seedy, carpet felt sticky Microwave cord did not reach outlet. Had to
move refrigerator to make it reach. Breakfast was packaged muffins and
danish, no decaf coffee available. Staff was not helpful. Location did
not feel like a safe area. Advertised easy access to Washington Metro,
but first had to take a bus to Metro. Advertised as three stars, I would
barely give it one star.
