Wonderful cafe with French baker and chocolate maker! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Gorgeous pool with cabanas. So elegant yet understated.   The hotel was huge and very nicely decorated, both in the reception area and in the rooms. There were actual birds in the lobby, not sure if they were supposed to be there or squatting, but I thought they were cute. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was easy to get a cab and get to downtown Stamford for dinner and drinks. - From the ... wat mensen zeggen » minute we arrived till the minute we left, every staff member went out of their way to see we were comfortable. I grew up in Greenwich 50 years ago and this was my first trip back to see old friends I had grown up with. The Hyatt Greenwich was outstanding in every way, which was the topper for a trip down memory lane!
