Location was right next to U Penn, which was beautiful and was very close to the trolley and metro stops. An art museum was practically 500 feet away and was super close to Han Dynasty, an amazing Chinese restaurant. -

We were upgraded to a gorgeous room with a fireplace. The location was
ideal - we were only a block away from the Curtis Institute, where we
had opera tickets.
The staff members were extremely helpful, and we slept well in a comfortable king-size bed. The continental breakfast, which was included in our rate, was surprisingly substantial. -

We loved the comfort of the king size bed. Having a kitchen gave us the opportunity to cook in or bring back leftovers to reheat in the oven or microwave. My husband could watch TV in the livingroom while I had the TV in the bedroom. - Everyone was wonderful at the AKA. The location was Fantastic!

Staff were unbelievably friendly, efficient, and courteous. Mind you, I
was the only one checking in at the time, nevertheless they were so very
nice. I was able to early checkin, they sent dishes at request b/c I
had lunch with me, helped with directions and emphasized the
car/driver available to guests should I need it provided it was
available.

Though it is an older hotel, the rooms are contemporary, tastefully decorated, modern, lovely and comfortable. I certainly felt as if I had splurged on the room. I would stay again. The location of the hotel is convenient to shopping, dining, culture, the park at Rittenhouse Square. We walked everywhere.
