I was in town for a wedding and did not arrive until later in the day

Almost cancelled because of past reviews..SO Glad we didn't!
Pleasantly surprised. Clean room (no sand or bugs etc), chocolate kisses
on pillows, nice linens & towels. Our 6 yr old even noticed how soft
the washclothes were! Extremely friendly owner, staff & guests.
Loved being able to walk right on beach and/or pool. Pool was never

You couldn't ask to be any closer to the beach! We walked out our
patio door and there was the sand and a few more feet was the Atlantic!
It was a beautiful view. The staff went way out of their way to get us
in early after a 700 mile drive and they were very nice and friendly.
The room was clean and had everything we needed. It was an older motel
with nothing fancy...but it was perfect for us!! We would stay again if
ever back down there!! The location was perfect!!

The staff was very friendly. The pools were very clean. There were live bands at the pool on the weekend. It was a nice environment for families. - I could open the balcony door and see the ocean. The indoor pool was nice. The building was secure at night.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. Not far from the beach. Right beside a nice mall and plenty of restaurants. The staff was very polite and helpful. Although I felt the hotel restaurant was a little pricey. The room was very comfortable and cozy. The pool was nice as well -

The staff was wonderful and very accomodating. We had originally been booked in a "pet building", I don't know how, we don't even have a pet. After spending one night listening to dogs barking and whining we requested to be moved to another room and a wonderful room was found for us on the 5th floor of another building. This was our first time at Springmaid Resort. It was a very pleasurable stay. The accomdations were all that we could have asked for. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. They made us feel that they truly cared that we had a good experience at their resort. The view from our room was exactly what we were in Myrtle Beach for. I will recomend Springmaid Resort to my friends and look forward to visiting again.

pool and lazy river inside we could go to and still enjoy. The location
was good because it was close to the boardwalk and the access to main
highways were straight down across the hotel. The Easter Scavenger Hunt

I loved that with 2 young kids we really didn't have to leave and spend more money for them to have fun. Great when you're on a budget. They had everything my kids love including the pools, lazy river, arcade and mini golf.
