I needed a quite room for studying for exams and there was a young group in the room above me, and I asked to have my room changed and there was not a problem changing rooms so I could study in peace. I really do appreciate the efforts of the staff to accommodate my request. Thank you so much and may your business continue to grow as my appreciation in stay at your hotel in the future. This hotel was clean and warm and far enough out of town that I felt safe. The staff was very friendly and the I liked the classical statuary around the gazebo. It was a straight shot down the highway to the city, and the price was highly affordable.

I liked: Empire Inn & Suites Hotel Manager - Friendly, open, helpful, kind, a real gem. Facilities, clean, bright and attractive. I enjoyed my stay. great price, staff accommodated our need to access a room prior to normal entry time (very much appreciated), close proximity to the place where the function was that we were attending. I was surprised room was extremely clean. And front desk staff was friendly. Great manager great prices very clean. close to AC,friendly and had a pool. It was close to the area we were visiting. nothing. Nothing. The had cable. The location. Location. location. nothing. There was a lot of noise. The electrical sockets are wired to the light switches, so when I wanted to charge my phone at night, I had to leave the overhead light on. The only thing I will mention is that the beds were very uncomfortable. Pastries were stale. beds were hard. Bed was uncomfortable. The room smelled musty and multiple scuff marks on walls. The sheets and towels looked dingy. filthy, water smelled like rusted pipes. Everything. My Fiance had a surprise for me in the hotel, after a nice romantic purposal at Times Sqare. When we had gotten to the room, all of his stuff was gone. But nothing in the room was cleaned. No trash dumped, no new towels bed was not redone, but his surprise was gone. How did they even know what he did??? thats a good question. They said it could be a fire hazard, ok but why would you throw away someones things??Wouldnt replace his items. Was not a good look, will never go back again. Everything else. My credit card was charged the full amount before I arrived and checked in, the room was beyond nasty, the man at the front desk refused to allow us to change rooms. He said all other rooms were booked. We checked in on Thursday and left on Sunday...there were plenty of available rooms up until the day we left. The hotel & service was horrible. The price was outrageous! Linens & bedding were disgusting! I would NEVER stay there again!. the place was nasty. rooms were very out dated. walls were dirty, a light fixture was falling from the ceiling, bathroom had no heat, heat in room was either 100 degrees or you had to turn off for no heat. bathroom door handle was broken. complete disaster! would never stay here again. wanted more towels and they had to wait until morning to get the housekeeping to get them after 9:30. never got them and had to go looking for them again. The person who did the check-in had no manner. He was being very rude for being there late for the check-in date which should be no problem for them. The bed sheet was not clean. Smoking room weren't too clean. Room assignments were not really enjoyable.
