  This is the perfect oasis away from the high rise buildings of Dubai. The hotel is calm, quiet and well laid out. Staff are efficient and extremely attentive without being in the way. Close to the airport but no discernable aircraft noise and you can reach most Dubai attractions within 30 mins - taxis are plentiful and pretty cheap. I loved being close to City Centre and a metro (I often just did the 15 minute walk, as I liked going through the golf course area with birds). Again, extremely gracious staff - high marks to my room service deliverer, the ladies at the front desk, my server at Traiteur, and the gentlemen out front. High marks, all!

During the cooler months you can walk to JBR Walk, which is only 10-15 minutes away, or you can take a stroll on the Marina Walk, which is just outside the hotel. Being connected with the Marina Mall there is plenty of shopping and dining facilities close by if you don't want to have your meals at the hotel.

  Wij boekten een executive room. Hadden dit al eens eerder gedaan en dat was goed bevallen. Aparte checkin op de 37e etage waar ook het lounge gedeelte was. De hele dag door gratis drank, koffie en eten. s'avond zelfs incl. Champagne , bier en diverse soorten goede wijn. Kamer (op 63e verdieping) perfect met alles erop en eraan. Perfecte locatie om... wat mensen zeggen » ons jubileum te vieren op een luxe en speciale manier - Zeer vriendelijk personeel en zeer behulpzaam. Het ontbijtbuffet was enorm variërend en uitgebreid. I forgot few things at the hotel when i checked out and the staff were amazing in orgaonizing to send them to where i asked them to... the things were well organized and sealed before sending them...
