  Staff was great mostly. Location was great because it was literally in front of the metro (and the metro is so easy to use because it only goes North and South). The pool is awesome too. The staff went out of their way to give me a room with a nice view after I requested it...put me on the 58th floor! The hotel is huge but never felt crowded. Included an entry way, sitting area, sleeping area, bathroom with a separate tub, a detached toilet roo - Staff and location! Right in front of it is the metro station. On S. Zayed Road full of life. A pharmacy, clinic, 24hrs market and many restaurants are just steps away. Rooms are of a good size.   Very clean room. Bed is the most comfortable bed I have tried at a hotel In room facilities and staff attitude are A+. Only 10 minutes away to/from DXB and to the essential shopping centres. There's a supermarket right behind the hotel. I got upgraded to the executive floor (5) which meant a larger room and access to the executive lounge. Did I forget to mentio - It was such a luxury staying at your hotel. We had just arrived from several weeks in Africa and felt we were treated like royalty!! Service was fantastic and very friendly. Close enough to metro and airport. Lovely pool area and breakfast restaurant has such an amazing variety of great food...it's making me hungry just thinking about it!! Will definitely recommend and stay here on my next trip thru Dubai.

  This was my second stay at Melia Dubai. I stayed here in January 2013 and when I needed to go back to Dubai, I chose to stay at the same hotel. The rooms at Melia are worth the stay.Very modern, very sleek. I like the modern door key and the mirror TV. I stayed in a suite the last time and this time I stayed in a deluxe double room. I stayed at The Level, check-in and check-out procedures are fast. - Melia is a beautiful hotel with modern decor, clean environment, perfect peaceful location!! staff was really helpful and friendly, upgraded us to 'the level lounge' which was quiet and really beautiful. check in and check out was really fast and easy.....the roof top pool and view is superb, my son and hubby enjoyed alot!! we had a lovely stay and i would definitely choose melia again whenever i come to dubai...its a value for money!!!
