  When I arrived, there was a small mix up with the rooms but the staff were fantastic! They sorted everything out, they were very friendly, they gave me the room I expected which was very nicely decorated and in my view, the location is perfect to see and visit the sights of Kiev. 10 out of 10 to the staff! The English speaking manageress was very helpful. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The airport is huge, light and airy.

  I liked this hotel and had I been aware of it on previous visits to Kiev I would have stayed then. I have read a previous comment about the lift being too small. It is small but I think we only once in our weeks stay shared it with another person.   I travel for business world wide. I have made many trips to Russia and cis countries. Its been several years (2008) since my last stay in Kiev. At that time there were several good hotels and then a few great ones. The great (ones 1-2) are very expensive and value to dollar for business is marginal. It has been completely remodeled and - Wery luxury and great service! Excellent restaurant (try a fish). English spoken personal, very friendly. I ask for reservation of taxi for an airport (in the check out) mantionet Sky Taxy and they preper everything. It cost 120 grivnas (very cheap)! When I fly on the airport and findou taxydriver by myself it cost 300 grivnas! Very friendly personal (not really smiling but very unhasitating. Excellent room cleaning service.   Very comfortable hotel - a haven after busy days during the trip. Restaurant food was delicious with a fine selection of very moderately priced Ukrainian wines by the glass or bottle. Room was superbly appointed - no complaints. Absolutely no intrusive noise so sound sleep every night. Within a brisk 10 minute walk from Arsenalna Metro station where the fixed journey price of (the equivalent of) 8p takes - It's a very comfy hotel, its location is perfect. The city centre is just 10-15 minutes walk. It's absolutely easy to walk to the main sightseeing from the hotel. Staff is really nice and polite. Kiev is not very expensive place which is worth visiting. Staying in this hotel will guarantee you a nice and silent nights.
