  I travel for business world wide. I have made many trips to Russia and cis countries. Its been several years (2008) since my last stay in Kiev. At that time there were several good hotels and then a few great ones. The great (ones 1-2) are very expensive and value to dollar for business is marginal. I booked this hotel after reading reviews and lo... wat mensen zeggen » oking at the pictures. Its in an older brick structure that would have been warehouse (most like) prior to "91". It has been completely remodeled and - Wery luxury and great service! Excellent restaurant (try a fish). English spoken personal, very friendly. I ask for reservation of taxi for an airport (in the check out) mantionet Sky Taxy and they preper everything. It cost 120 grivnas (very cheap)! When I fly on the airport and findou taxydriver by myself it cost 300 grivnas! Very friendly personal (not really smiling but very unhasitating. Excellent room cleaning service.   I was only there for 1 night as my plans changed but I stayed in the chervonoarmiiska / Krasnoarmeyskaya apartment. easy to find, close the metro, nice place, also had a couple of english channels on the tv. the office to pick up the keys is next door to McDonalds on Khreschatyk and also easy to find, the girl in the office was really nice and spo... wat mensen zeggen » ke good english. - Best location, fantastic view from the balcony to the main street, very clean, very nice modern facility, full equipped kitchen, very fast wifi, was possible late check out without charge, great stay and higly recommended
