  At first glance you would be forgiven for thinking the hotel has nothing of worth surrounding it. But it actually has a giant shopping complex next door, plenty of good restaurants, the metro station is very close and there is quite a large park a little further away. The breakfast was also decent and the room had kettle facilities. Staff was also... wat mensen zeggen » pleasant, helpful and all spoke English. - Hotel is excellent in everyway and the facilities include some very fine detail, which makes the accommodation extremely good. I travel extensively and the Cosmopolite must be one of the better hotels that I have stayed in over the last 25 years. Well Done !!

Good location for city center and close enough that we could walk (but a long walk) to the Lavra and other sites overlooking the Dnipro. You will find there also restaurant with reasonable prices comparing to many restaurants in center.   I was quite worried when I read the other reviews for this hotel on letsbookhotel.com. But actually everything was just perfect! The location is good, close to the center and to the Palace of Sports (I visited a competition there and that's why I chose this hotel). It's right between hotel Rus and hotel President, but the place is quite. St - The hotel was located quite well. Up on a hill over the Olympic stadium with only a 10 minute walk to the main street. Breakfast wasn't huge but it was decent with several options eggs, sausages, pancakes, etc. Wifi was good enough to video chat with so that was nice. I liked that there were water coolers on each floor so I could easily have drinking water.

  The location is absolutely the best, when visiting Kiev. Nice cityscape from the window, if your room is high enough. Everything is reachable by walking. The hotel is clean and pleasant, although economy rooms still have their ceramic tiles and doors from hotel's opening in 1961. But it's absolutely OK for the price asked. Have stayed in many hotels in Kiev for last few years and for value for money this is good...no need to to pay triple and stay in Premier. I booked the standart room - it was small, but comfortable. Very clean bathroom. Only 2 russian's channels.
