Good location for city center and close enough that we could walk (but a long walk) to the Lavra and other sites overlooking the Dnipro.   The location was great with the hotel situated in a park, buses ran along the street in front of the hotel and the metro underground was about a 15 minute walk away and is quite cheap & fast travel.   I was quite worried when I read the other reviews for this hotel on letsbookhotel.com. But actually everything was just perfect! The location is good, close to the center and to the Palace of Sports (I visited a competition there and that's why I chose this hotel). St - The hotel was located quite well. Up on a hill over the Olympic stadium with only a 10 minute walk to the main street. Breakfast wasn't huge but it was decent with several options eggs, sausages, pancakes, etc. Wifi was good enough to video chat with so that was nice. I liked that there were water coolers on each floor so I could easily have drinking water.

I read that people complained about this hotel but I have stayed half of my life in 5 star hotels but in my opinion this hotel offers all you need to stasy for a very good priv´ce and has an excellent location.   The location is absolutely the best, when visiting Kiev. Nice cityscape from the window, if your room is high enough. Everything is reachable by walking. The hotel is clean and pleasant, although economy rooms still have their ceramic tiles and doors from hotel's opening in 1961. But it's absolutely OK for the price asked.
