  The landlady was a really nice person and very friendly. The room was good size and bed was great. Breakfast was great and we would happily go again. Only drawback was parking, but we managed. Very pleasant stay and good value. - Perfect location; very clean and comfortable room; breakfast was delicious and Jo the host was so welcoming.   Annesdale is close to the train station and an easy walk to shops and restaurants in Windermere. The hosts of Annesdale are very friendly. We appreciated that they gave us (and our luggage) a ride to the train station. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed our own sitting room and garden complete with a table to enjoy a quiet time outside. - W... wat mensen zeggen » e really liked having our own private entrance to the suite as we could come and go as we pleased. The suite was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and gave us advice on places of interest etc. The breakfasts were excellent!

  Jenni and Steve make you feel like personal friends in their lovely home. Their sense of decoration and comfort is amazing, the breakfasts are wonderful, the views from the house terrific. The friendliness and hospitality of the hosts made our visit just like being at home. The comfort and cleanliness of the accomodation the obvious effort that has gone into making this house a lovely place stands testament to their approach to thier business.   Brendan Chase is conveniently placed and just a half-hour walk to Lake Windermere. David, the owner who greeted us, was extremely helpful when we first arrived drawing a map for us and pointing out places of local interest and some picturesque walks we might have missed otherwise.   Extremely comfortable, quiet and spotless clean accommodation. The single room with the bathroom was just amazing, warm, cosy and the perfect place to go back after a long walk. View of the mountains from the window in the morning is a great start, as well as the breakfast. Howard is a very nice and kind host. Howard really wants his guests to have an enjoyable stay. Lake Windermere and the town centre are within walking distance. Parking was easy as you can park on the surrounding streets.

  Wij hebben een zeer vriendelijk ontvangst gehad en veel info over de omgeving gekregen. Zeer attente uitbaters, waar je met al je vragen terecht kon. Een zeer verzorgde B&B. Elke morgen een verzorgd en gevarieerd uitgebreid ontbijt. Er was zeer veel aan documentatie kaartmateriaal aanwezig waar we vrij over konden beschikken. In't kort, een ui... wat mensen zeggen » tstekende B&B. - We had a lovely friendly stay in homely surroundings with fabulous breakfasts. We were also given much information in relation to places to visit which was very helpful for our first visit to the lakes. The Mews is very well placed for accessing trains and buses as well as a lovely walk to the lakeside. Throughly recommended. - We appreciate host's hospitality and had a wonderful time in The Mews. The meal is nice and the room is clean with privacy. Last but not least, the host provided very good advice on footpath in Windermere and so we didn't miss any attractive place in Lake District.
