The staff made us feel very welcome and worked very hard. Loved everything about our stay here. Really friendly and helpful staff who are all a credit to the hotel. Room had great view across to the lake. Large comfy bed, loads of storage space, hot and powerful shower, huge bath towels and more. Would definitely recommend evening meal at hotel. Food cooked to order so served fresh and hot. It's the best place I have stayed ever. Very kind and thoughtful staff. We brought our 1.5 years old for a leisure weekend. When we arrived the room, toys and a trolley have been prepared for her. The breakfast was wonderful. My wife and my daughter were really happy during the stay. Best place ever!

Very quiet and adequate. Beds clean and comfy. A lovely old house full of character which had a nice feel about it but very tired and dated. No problem with that as price was fair. Decorators were coming in as we were leaving so hotel is making effort. Wi-Fi very fast and reliable. This old building must be expensive to upkeep. -

Rather than catch a bus he offered to drop us off on his way. I don't think this sort of service would come from a 5 star international hotel.

Fantastic hosts - great communication from the start. Very helpful, gave great advice and nothing seemed too much trouble.
Lovely room - very comfortable with little touches including toiletries, fresh milk, delicious flapjack and WiFi. Great choice of breakfasts on offer - something for everyone with lots of fresh coffee and toast etc.
