  The hotel was in an ideal location in Windermere. We have just purchased a boat at the marina, and this was ideal for us. The hotel was excellent, food excellent, facilities excellent, and staff extremely helpful. We were greeted on the front desk by a gentleman called Giles, extremely helpful, brilliant first class service.   Roz and Garry made my husband and I feel very welcome.The break was to celebrate my 50th birthday,we couldn't have chosen a better place.The hotel was very clean,bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing,good value for money.We will go back again . - They are very friendly and you will be really enjoy to stay in this guest house.

  The owner, Linda, is a delightful, kind and hospitable person. She could not have been more helpful.   Very quiet and adequate. Beds clean and comfy. A lovely old house full of character which had a nice feel about it but very tired and dated. No problem with that as price was fair. Decorators were coming in as we were leaving so hotel is making effort. Wi-Fi very fast and reliable. This old building must be expensive to upkeep. - The bed was ver... wat mensen zeggen » y comfortable and we were given a lift to our car which was parked three miles away from the manager, Andy who was giving a site seeing tour to four ladies from oversees. Rather than catch a bus he offered to drop us off on his way. I don't think this sort of service would come from a 5 star international hotel.

  Ian was a very good host, he was friendly and informative and easy to talk to. This stay was made more enjoyable with his personal touch. He prepared delightful English & Vegetarian breakfasts for us. We loved his mushrooms and coffee. The room is small but cosy. This isn't a luxury hotel so for the price we paid, it is great value-for-money.... wat mensen zeggen » We all got restful sleep. The mattresses are very comfortable. All in all, the guesthouse is affordably priced. The host's attentiveness, the hearty - the owner was very friendly and welcoming, the food very good and house very comfortable. we suggested they get a visitors book, the owner said he rarely read reviews on letsbookhotel.com but we said he should! he would receive many positive comments from guests like us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
