The lovely welcome and really super accommodation. Loved the owners and would have liked to stay longer. Easy to get to all places we wanted to visit and also had parking on the side of the property. Wonderful breakfasts. Enjoyed the TV and had our own key to come and go as we liked.
we loved the fact that we had a good sized room with room for luggage storage and a lovely large bathroom with a bath. The bed linen included a top sheet which is important and excellent to cover yourself with at night when all rooms are overheated and you only have a hot doona.alle beoordelingen »
I liked location as it was between the railway station and the lake, for me it was excellent as I could go to hotel on foot without taxi. The staff is polite and friendly, ask all questions and provide recommendations. It is a good place to stay.

Owner had good knowledge of the are and helpful touring advice.

Even if the car park is full you can park at the church across the road.
It was in fab location, not far from all the shops,restaurants. There are also plenty of tab walks. Lots of country side to explore.

The people were lovely, we were given a room at the very top, so we had to adjust our luggage to get it up there. The views were beautiful.. right on the creek.

The noise of the traffic but we had to have the windows open because it was very hot whilst we were staying at Glencree.

In my room in the evening and early morning was cold and it was not comfortable.

There were a few spiders around the bath which could have been cleaned properly before we went in there. You could feel that they were tired of being there... it was one of the first things they told you, and that they had it on the market.
We had a small ground floor bedroom.

the location is neither Windermere or Bowness but a steep walk to either (albeit about 10min).
