  The room was big, fresh looking and airy with plenty of drawers and space to hang things. The girl behind the bar was friendly and gave me my whiskey and dry ginger in a proper glass! The area is good for a trip by train or a tree lined drive into the forest. The garden with the little stream and seating area is very nice. Comfy, clean and homey. ... wat mensen zeggen » Lovely place to stay. Breakfast was spot on! Wish we could have stayed longer! - A friendly homely hotel (it's a pub with accommodation), breakfast and evening meals were really good, good wireless connection, 15 min drive from Basingstoke, clean and comfortable room, competitive room rates. I will definitely be staying again.

  The best I've ever stayed in, the whole experience was just overwhelming, and there a very nice Gym there as well. It is so close to M3 or Bushy Airport if you fly. This is the place to stay....at anytime. - Ease of registration, quality of food and service.

  Having stayed in this village several times before this was the best accommodation by far. Fantastic location, lovely room - very clean, warm and cosy with a very clean and well equipped bathroom. Great bar area downstairs with friendly staff.
