The Mill House has a very pleasing aspect and has preserved its period features without stinting on comfort. Staff were friendly (one person kindly printed our airport boarding passes for us); breakfast excellent, ditto evening meal.
Welcoming cosy getaway.Comfortable room, with basic onsuite facilties. Great breakfast, very nicely presented and staff couldn't be more helpful. Five minutes from Trebarwith Srand which is a spectacular location for photographers,.

last minute. We hit the jackpot with The Mill House.
Comfortable room with a very spacious bath. Superb food served by excellent staff. Friendly atmosphere. Half mile walk to the Cove.
P.S. It is not in Tintagel !

Great food.
The locality of this hotel is excellent; only a short walk to the sea. The guy who dealt with us was great; relaxed and good fun as well as being very accommodating when he knew we would need an earlier breakfast.
Friendly, excellent breakfast, peaceful setting. Twin room, needs smaller wardrobe to make space more accessible, and a facelift, en-suite acceptable.
Short walk from beach
Well decorated and clean
Nice garden
Easy parking
Good food and good drink selection.

breakfast, position, ambience.
The drive down the hill is a little scary because the road is so steep and narrow - perhaps mention this in description?.
Outside of the accommodation is a little tired and could do with a tidy up.
The rooms could do with a make over, although furnishings and decor were clean and comfortable the fabric of the building needs improving, whilst retaining its olde worldy charm of the mill and chararcter.
Slightly difficult to find whilst driving in the dark. Then again, that
might be everyplace in the area.
Very narrow country lanes for the last couple of miles. Quite a lot of traffic on them.
a better sign on the road to indicate sharp downhill bend.
There wasn't anything I disliked.
I found absolutely nothing to dislike!.
The room was a little noisy.
A bit chilly in the bedroom
It would have been nice if the wood burners had been lit.
the shower.
I thought they were a bit on the mean side with breakfast my partner decided he didn't want a full English breakfast & ordered poached eggs on toast he was given 1 egg & a slice of toast.
No shower.
There was nothing we disliked.
Low Ceilings.
The stairs!.
Would benefit with more reasonable priced restaurant, e.g. Bar snacks.
Lovely restaurant, rather overpriced.
Very thin walls! With families staying it was an early wake up from kids running around, at night it was hard to sleep with noise from the bar.
To be expected with an old property, but it creaks a lot with any movement, so sleep was disturbed by other guests.
bedrooms small and basic,
decoration of bedrooms and accommodation area tired,
window [bed 7] covered with ivy.
Dinner and wine prices.
The dangerous approach road. The lack of a shower - despite having been
specifically requested, the lack of continuous hot water whilst washing.
Being charged an extra £30m for 2 nights in a 'superior room'
which didn't even have a wardrobe. The food in the restaurant;
broccoli that was inedible and finding the plastic wrapper from the
sauce in the main course and the cheesecake being baked to a dry
consistency with a very greasy base.
