The position of the hotel is fantastic, literally central for the RSC Theatre and shopping. We did not drive but it was easy walking distance from the station and close to bus/river trips. The location is excellent for the RSC. Rooms are clean and tidy in the standard formart of the Premier Inn chain.
Bottom line, if you just want somewhere simple to stay after a night at the theatre, this place is perfect. If you're touring the country with more luggage and with a car, then there are probably better places in or around Stratford.

We stayed for 4 days, all the staff were very friendly, and liked to have a chat, but they were very efficient and made sure we had all we wanted. minor details) with charming owners. Our baby daughter had a great time
there playing with their baby girl and toddler boy. Great breakfast

greeted me was very helpful with directing me to places to eat and enjoy
a drink after a play (make sure you ask for directions to the Dirty
Duck, not the Dodgy Duck as I did as that can cause much amusement).

you need to find a park down the street first then get the ticket. - Everything about Courtland was excellent. Parking was conveniently close by and Stratford centre is a couple of minutes away on foot. The bed was super comfortable and towels were replaced daily. The breakfast selection was good and the cooked part was very nicely done. We would recommend it as a good base and providing comfort and a nice breakfast. The choice to take either a shower or bath in our en suite was good.

My daughter and I had an excellent stay in this gustehouse! Warm welcome, nice and clean room with some really nice extra's, perfect breakfast, parking. The service was excellent and personalised. We have stayed here several times when visiting the theatre in Stratford, and found that it had been refurbished over the winter. We were very happy with facilities before, but they are of a very high standard now.
We enjoyed being able to eat breakfast outside on the patio area, and thought breakfast was very good value.
The staff also went out of their way to be helpful, even phoning to get more info for us re a local National Trust property.
