The Inn has a warm friendly atmosphere, the staff are very pleasant and the food is superb, the location is great, being out of the town in a quiet village and just across the road from Mary Ardens house, a house worth seeing!
All in all a Hotel that that I would return to and would recommend to anyone. Everything the people were extremely helpful and polite. The food was very very good and the area beautiful but what makes a place stand out is the staff and I could find no fault with the staff at the Mary Arden. They have an excellent staff and hotel manager. This was a beautiful, quiet location with a nice restaraunt/bar. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We loved this hotel. The rooms were lovely, and the staff very nice and helpful. This is the only UK hotel I have found that I would willingly go back to. Friendly, polite staff. Nothing was too much trouble to ensure our stay was relaxing and carefree. Hope to return next year.the staff were very friendly, the food was excellent in the bar in the evening and the room was beautiful. The hotel has charm and we loved the huge four poster bed.It was in an ideal location for Stratford with a Park and Ride service right on the doorstep. We hope to go back in the near future.. Excellent breakfast cooked to order hence a bit of a wait but not a problem!. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere staff available if you wanted them and very obliging over unusual requests e.g 'what's on at the cinema and when'?k. very friendly management/staff. Lovely room with good facilities. excellent value for money. Staff very helpful, ordered taxis etc exactly when agreed. Breakfast simple but delicious. The friendliness of the staff. Friendliness of the staff. We had a nice room and the staff considered our length of stay and gave us their larger room for our comfort. We had stayed here before and enjoyed it however this time the hotel was better staffed. We think Katie,Graham and Rob and their team run a very nice Inn with friendly staff, nice surroundings and very good food and we intend to return in the future with our family. Staff both helpful and friendly. Nice and quiet surroundings. Very convenient for Stratford and the theatres. For this standard of accommodation we would have had much more to pay had we stayed in Stratford itself.Having the choice of dinner from a menue instead of having a set menue, also breakfast was cooked to order, and arrived hot and fresh. The staffwere knowledgable about the local history. The friendlyness of the staff. The location was perfect for countrywalks, and statford was easy to get to by train.Staff were friendly, location ideal for visiting various places.Hotel and food exellent. Excellent food in the restaurant. The old-world character. The friendly and helpful staff. Good food. The relaxed atmosphere and the coutiousness of the staff. Friendly local feel about the bar, helpfull staff. The four poster!. It was a very comfortable hotel, with a very welcoming pub and bar. The staff were very helpful and polite. The food was good, although some of the portions were a little too large for us. We ordered 2 x4 poster rooms but these were not available. The manager let us keep the better of the two rooms he had, upgraded the other to a suite and gave frre drinks.Staff were excellent very friendly. Food was very good both breakfast and the dinner menu. Clean, warm and comfortable with friendly staff. Good location. We would go there again.Friendly Staff, Excellent brasserie, Lovely location. Comfort, excellent food and good staff. room comfortable, hotel friendly. Friendly staff. Nice menu.excellent food and drink. The friendly staff. nice olde world feel good beer, good food, very nice hotel,. The attention to service and quality by staff. It was noisy in the morning with people leaving rooms early and voices waking us up. Heating was not on when we arrived in our room, it wasn't freezing but it was a cold day and the lack of heating was noticable. Breakfast was excellent although we would have liked a little more choice on the evening menu but the quality of food was good. Furniture in dining area was bit uncomfortable. walls were a bit thin. Much better if the room had a fridge. As the weather was really cold for the time of year we would have liked some heating in our room. the boiler was beneath our room and we were unable to leave the window open through the night because of the noise. Farthur from Stratford town center than explained and there is nothing else up there but the Mary Arden House. If you want a nice quiet rest this is the place;. Heating system was rather noisy in 4 poster bedroom. Early finish to the restaurant and No Earl Grey or fruit teas!! A veryminor quibble - we all thought it was a smashing pub which could makemuch more advertising of its gastropub capabilities. Slightly limited evening bar menu, noise from ? refrigeration units on and off through the night outside bedroom window. we asked for breakfast to be at 8.00 it was 8.30 when we got it. as result we were late for an appointment by 40 mins due to the delay and food not served after 8.30 pm. Only would have preferred two comfortable chairs in room, but very minor point.
