The location is great right on the sea front in the centre of skegness.Our room was a double sea view with a balcony which was just great.Very clean and comfortable nice and quite to say it was on the sea front.Breakfast was loverly plenty of choice and the english breakfast was one of the best.Overall we cant wait to return and recommend this hotel to anyone young,old and familys it was for everyone.
alle beoordelingen » We had been invited down for a family wedding and were able to change into our attire upon arrival. The room was comfortable a little cramped but more than adequate for the one night stay. Plenty of tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast was very nice and a grand selection of items to choose from. Staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. Thr Savoy was much nicer than we expected, the staff were helpful, the room was bright, modern, clean and airy.The breakfast was second to none we could more or less have what ever we wanted. (infact far too much for us) The service was also very prompt.This hotel deserves another star.We would definitely stay there again. Had a weekend break at The Savoy with my sister, excellent location, lovely, bright exceptionally clean twin bedded room. Excellent staff, very helpful, from the Reception down to the cleaning ladies, highly recommended. Very friendly staff in dining room and Neil on reception friendly and helpful. We found the hotel cosy and comfortable & the staff friendly & helpful. Also, the Conference facility was excellent. Had dog friendly room which was clean and functional,staff very helpful and friendly. The Breakfasts were excellent. We had a sea view and a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. We will be returning!. this hotel was amazing the staff were friendly and the food was amazing we really didnt want to leave. If there has to be one thing the only thing I would say is the bed was a bit hard but that's scraping the bucket cus I have to comment to move on!. Didn't have Sky Sports to watch the Ashes Test Match. (Minor Point). Nothing. the lift (but I don't do lifts if I can help it) so a minor point really. It was somewhat noisy at night upstairs, possibly because the building is old & not soundproof. Parking,,the Hotel only had 13 spaces for over 40 guests,,more parking please,,,. room was cramped with inclusion of single bed. noisy extractor in bathroom. That dogs are allowed. It put me off. What a shame!. Cannot think of anything. a little pricy,compaired to premire inns we usually stay in. restaurant only serves between 6-7??. limited parking. •Small bath •Parking. Breakfast could have been a larger portion. Hotel doesn't provide travel cots. Room not very soundproof, we could hear everything!. The toast left a lot to be desired (poor quality bread) and the tv remote did not work. Parking, no lift for push chairs, lady on rep very rude. Room was small but adequate. Wifi was very hit and miss. nothing. room was described as a family room but was very small and cramped, didnt think the room was worth £99 a night!!!! breakfast was lovely just on the small side!. Staff not too welcoming, cooks and breakfast staff very LOUD INDEED from the kitchen wasnt a pleasant breakfast experience, think they need to do their jobs instead of talking very loudly amongst themselves, also when handing in our key when leaving, the man on desk just casually said "thanks", no bye or anything, not very professional!. the lift was to small to get the pushchairs up and down. the fryed breakfast was small. No showers in the room. Small rooms. Room , to small and no bath. Car park. Had to leave car keys at desk for members of staff to move car if necessary. room far too small,bathroom far to small,. Paying £90 for a room for one night then being asked to have breakfast in the bar even though there was lots of room in the dining room. We didn't though as we were bit happy doing that and got ourselves a nice window seat! Car parking?!?! Having to book it months before. Dated small rooms too expensive compared to other b&bs,breakfast was very poor, parking was non exsistant beware to add £10 per night to total,rooms not ready for booking in time receptionist with poor attitude,drinks very expensive could go on and on, 4/10.
