  We had such a lovely stay at the Trimnells House. The owners were so kind and hospitable! They even went out of their way to make us breakfast early one morning when we had to catch a flight. The room was beautiful, cozy, and perfect for a family of 4. The breakfast was delicious! We loved the town of Colerne, our visit to Bath, and Castle Combe w... wat mensen zeggen » as just beautiful. Loved it and would definitely love to stay again!! - After a very long day exploring Bath we arrived quite late and tired, but we were welcomed like old friends, made to feel very much at home. The room was tastefully decorated , clean and spacious. breakfast was excellent and even a request for extra toast was met with a friendly smile. The gardens are classic english cottage style and add to the restful atmosphere. Just a great place to stay.

  Was greeted in a friendly manner. The room was fantastic, not only verypretty, practical and well laid out but very clean and very tidy. Thehotal was in beautiful surroundings with an air of tranqility and itreally was a relaxing stay. The facilities were great and there was agames room there suitable for bot children and adults.   Jenny is a fabulous host and cook. She is friendly and helpful, with good advice for travellers. There are two large lounge rooms, books, toys, games. The second kitchen is available for cooking, with all facilities and crockery,and there are dining tables for eating in. Beds great, rooms nicely furnished and spacious with pleasant bathrooms. We had a very friendly greeting and taken straight to our room as we were tired travelling, served tea and biscuits on our own little veranda in a beautiful garden setting. The acommodation was spotless, spacious and beautifully decorated, much thought having gone into the comfort of each guest. The best breakfast selection we have ever had and pleanty of it! Fabulous relaxing stay, and Jenny was just wonderful, we loved her!!!!

  I cannot rate this B&B highly enough. We are a group of 4 ladies and live in different parts of the country: we meet around 3 times a year and usually stay over and have dinner. I found The Old Rectory as I wanted somewhere which was easily accessible for all of us and booked the Family Room which actually was two linked rooms, one with a ki... wat mensen zeggen » ng size bed and the other with a single bed plus sofa bed (which was perfectly comfortable and big enough for an adult). The owners could not have be - Lynda and Colin made us so welcome and even rang ahead to make sure they had the correct information about our gluten-free diet which was outstanding. Lovely, comfortable and spotless suite of rooms for my daughter/husband and two small boys (with games for the children) and a spacious, beautiful room for me. The breakfast was a holiday experience to remember in itself. A lovely surprise near enough to Longleat to make a super stop-over.

  me and my husband stayed here monday to friday and had a great holiday our room was clean and very comfy breakfast was really good and plenty of it , we go to a lot of hotels in GB as my husband will not fly and this was one of the best places we have stayed will be back and will be recommending to friends and family , Gill was very nice and saved... wat mensen zeggen » us some money on our visits to places thank you . - E It was a beautiful location, far enough away from Bath to relax and yet accessible. It was lovely to be able to get up when we wanted to and make breakfast in the way we wanted it. The bed was huge and everything was clean and tastefully decoraed.   Room was very clean and quiet with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view. The owner was pleasant and helpful (allowed me to leave my backpack after checkout time on my last day, since I had an evening train). Within easy walking distance (less than a mile) of the town center and train station. I also appreciated the addition of a teapot to the usual teamaking facilities. - This is a lovely little hotel with a very warm and cosy atmosphere. Terry is a friendly and polite host who cares for his guests very much (for example: offers an umbrella when it rains). Both my room and the bathroom were spotless clean. I really enjoyed my stay at the White Lodge very much, and I will recommend this hotel to my friends. Also, I would love to stay there again next time, if possible...
