To be fair, we arrived were attending a party nearby, had B/Fast next morning and left so didn't make use of the pub etc. The staff were fine and there had been a slight mix up over booking B/Fast however the owner really went out of his way to sort us out. The breakfast was delicious but beware of the portion size (huge). The coaching inn is in the centre of Devizes. Ask to see the cellars as they were part of a tunnel system that ran all around Devizes in the old days. Room No. 4 is said to be one of the most haunted in England.

  The hotel was excellent for the price. I felt that the photos on the website and the comments from other customers did not give an accurate picture. We would certainly stay at the Old Manor Hotel again if in the area and reccommend it without hesitation. The bedroom was very well furnished, spaceous, with a large comfortable bed. Very nicely decorated bathroom. The hotel is in a beautiful village which is lovely to walk around.   Lovely greeting from the owner. Food was wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were spot on. Whilst the room was lovely I would have liked some additional touches like some biscuits and herbal teas, a bin in the bedroom and the ability to turn the heating on. I realise it is summer but the towel rail did not come on which would have been nice. Food was good and reasonably priced and hosts were welcoming and friendly. Lovely quiet spot with country views( and rabbits!)....A perfect spot to relax and unwind and only a few minutes from Tetbury and Malmesbury......IWe absolutely recommend the Horseguards. A+stay.
