  Everything. This is, without doubt, the finest B&B that we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in hundreds. The room was superbly equipped with a full wet room, Egyptian cotton linen, stereo, tv, Molton Brown toiletries and everything else you could possibly need.   This is a great place to stay. Good location just outside Stornoway. We stayed in the cottage behind the guest house and it was immaculate with great facilities. Donald is a very welcoming and excellent host. Thanks. - The owner was a great man.   A lovely friendly welcome, the room was very comfortable, clean and cosy. Good breakfast and excellent value for money. Easy parking on front so no worries about no private car park.   I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. It also has a bar and restaurant on site which allows you to sit, relax, eat and drink (with a good selection of cocktails,... wat mensen zeggen » whiskey, and local brews. The staff was very nice. - The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. Very approachable staff; fabulous environs, warm, clean and romantic buildings and gardens. Loved the sense of history; staying in Flora McDonald's house.

  We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots. In the morning fantastic Scottish breakfast was served, excellent guest house location and view! :) What was crucial for us - very convenient car park! A small Co-op store in near. Together, we could solve the problem with the Internet-Problem ;-) Not solved was the problem with the corde for the ventilation inside the single room :-(

The rooms were large and spacious and well equipped. The guest house is obviously being redecorated, which will add to the value of the rooms. The breakfasts were excellent!   Good comfortable accommodation. Very friendly and helpful owner, provided transport to and from ferry as I was on foot. Superb breakfast, really sets you up for the day. I had the room with a balcony offering tranquil views of Sandwick Bay.
