  We were given a great welcome by a delightful Spanish employee and as we were keen to see the Tour of Britain cycle race stage finish in Gateshead he allocated us a room with a view - we were very grateful.The dining room staff at breakfast set a high standard of service.   It was Home from home weather you were on a leisure weekend or business you were made to feel very welcome nothing was to much trouble, food was excellent. would recommend kingsmere Guest House. Has all its original feature for the property. The breakfast was excellent. The room was large and spacious with a large en suite shower room. The surrounding area was beautiful and an excellent base for visiting places of interest nearby. Would definitely stay here again.
