  Surprise courtesy call day or two before arrival checking on arrival time & evening meal (available if desired). Room clean & comfortable, tea & coffee making facilities & small terrace from patio doors with tables & chairs, lovely for sitting out in this quiet location with lots of birdsong. We didn't have dinner but the break... wat mensen zeggen » fasts were amazing - can't think of anything which was not avaiable on request. Charming hostesses. One small thing which would be useful is a small - We were also contacted prior to our arrival by the owner asking if everything was alright and if we would be requiring food on our arrival. The owner, who was very friendly, she met us as we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable with a very large bed and on suite shower. We did not have an evening meal but the breakfasts on both mornings were excellent, the owner couldn't have been more accommodating. We would highly recommend The Chilli Pepper to fami

  The hotel is extremely good value and was very quiet indeed in the Coach House annex. It is a quite splendid building and the baronial hall excellent for both dinner and breakfast.
