The apartment is very located to the city center(10 mins walk). You don't need the car because evrything is at your fingertips. The place is quiet and very close to Tesco supermarket. If you want to stay out of central downtown, are driving a car and take buses and tours, this works very well. Some signs of wear and tear here and there but it has the character of an older building which was exactly what I was looking for in Scotland. The downstairs sitting room with snacks and bar fridge a nice feature. Business office available.

Excellent value. - I first booked at the Waterfront but found out that there was one closer to the city center when I reached Edinburgh and managed to change the booking. I was lucky they had rooms available and for the same price as well. Its called Express By Holiday Inn City Center.

The owner is very easy going, trying her best to provide you with the best living experience. Clean and comfy room which is more than I bargain for. I wish Abbotsford Guest House can appear in other countries so I don't need to spend time searching for a good hotel anymore. Breakfast is nicely made. I see no drawbacks at all! Totally worth it!

Very friendly people, and a lovely large room with an extremely comfortable bed. If you're there for the golf or racing, it's just across the street, and the town centre is a quick walk away. A bus stop just in front takes you to Edinburgh city centre in about 40 minutes once an hour.

The Clarin was a wonderful place to stay in Edinburgh. It is conveniently located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood just south of the city by a short bus ride. It was easy to find by bus from the airport as well. The breakfasts were fit for a king and the amenities were equally as marvelous. Definitely one of the most impressive places we have stayed in.

I stayed for one night at the Edinburgh Townhouse, and the single room with ensuite was very comfortable. The Townhouse is about a 20 minute walk from Edinburgh, Waverley Rail Station, and situated on castle Street, just off Princes Street. I enjoyed a tasty, continental Breakfast in the morning.
