  The inn is right opposite the working port. I found the view from my room lovely and the stevedores calling, the boats and ships and the fog that rolled in very atmospheric. The room was clean and comfy and the staff were excellent, particularly the lady who dealt with my check-in. Free parking across the road. - The welcome we received from Sarah was a credit to both her and The Ferry Inn-thank you. The room was excellent and most comfortable. The location was ideal for our touring purpose. Popeye's was great for our Bar snack in the evening, where it was lovely to chat to the locals, and The Upper Deck was lovely for breakfast the next morning.

Did not have to pay for 2 poor meals and scotch for the ladies and a chance to talk the problems over with the manager were much appreciated.   Excellent hotel in practically all respects. We had a beautiful spacious room, the bathroom had a bath tub as well as a shower in it, the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, giving us accurate answers to our enquiries, and the breakfast was so plentiful it could keep you going for the rest of the day. It's an ideal place to stay if you have a car, otherwise you need a taxi or bus to get to the town - or you can just walk, which, - This was a stop-over point for us .. the view over the loch is simply lovely .. peaceful.. every changing.. We had inadvertently NOT made clear that we wished a double room .. and we had initially been allocated a twin room .. we were lucky that a double room was available .. and we were reallocated to this one ..
