  The food was obviously of a high quality. After a walk round Grasmere the hotel's warm swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were a luxurious delight.   Excellent, very friendly polite staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome,nothing is too much trouble. Really good Full English Breakfast, yet again the staff were very friendly and helpful. Leisure facilities are Fab,good Gym & by far the cleanest, largest & best steam room & sauna we have been in. Don't be put off by the reviews, the rooms are not the - I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but we had no problems at all. Before going i requested a newly refurbished room and it turned out to be a spacious twin, that was clean, comfortable and quiet. I do agree that the rooms are a little warm and the windows don't really open, but other than that we had a comfortable stay. Staff were helpful and polite in general and any requests etc were dealt with straight away. Breakfast is that of a budget hotel, but plenty on offer and all sel

  lovely area lovely view very,peaceful,with excellent staff . Good breakfast,friendly manager ,who had time for a chat though was very busy - The customer service was superb and it was fantastic to be able to take our dog and have her in the room with us

  We had a very warm at the hotel on arrival and throughout our stay. The food we had on our first evening there was absolutely gorgeous. Our room was also to a very high standard of comfort. - Comfortable clean accomadation.

  We liked everything! The suites are perfect, with lovely appointments. The owners are exceptionally helpful and friendly. It's very very clean. It's close to everything at Waterhead and only a mile from Ambleside, with good bus service to everywhere in the Lake District. I'd return to the Lake District just to stay at the Quaysiders Club. - Great... wat mensen zeggen » location. I loved the couch as it was really squishy and comfortable. The shower was neat because you could program it to the exact temperature and pressure you wanted it. The provided coffee, milk, biscuits, and hot chocolate were _sublime_. The free WiFi was a great perk. Wonderful ambiance for small get-togethers.
