Having stayed in a few of the Hotels rooms now, weve found them all to be very clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was first class, with plenty of choice, and very well cooked. Location of the hotel was excellent as not in centre of Newquay; so quieter; but the seaviews were fantastic. Local recommendation for food was good too.

  Outstanding location for visiting the Cornwall area and Port Issac. The best restaurant within miles and extremely courteous service. The number one choice to stay if visiting Port Issac. It is about a 5 minutes drive to the Port Isaac parking areas which you will have to park in even if you stay in one of the 3 downtown hotels. Port Issac's is no... wat mensen zeggen » w a crowded tourist town and it is refreshing to get away from all the noise and enjoy a great evening dinner and nights rest at the Longcross hotel. - Travelled specifically to Port Isaac to visit the 'Doc'! Big Australian Doc Martin fans. Village was quaint and to make it even more special, they were in the middle of filming the new series!!! The proximity from The Longcross Hotel to the harbour was perfect. The short drive gave you a real feel for the beautiful Cornwall countryside.   When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of the pubs and the beauty of the village. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful during our entire stay. The room was very well done and comfortable.   Having just returned from a stay at the Harbour Inn, Porthleven. I would like to congratulate Andy, Gail and all the Staff for a very friendly and enjoyable time. Everything met with more than our expectations, from the standard of the accommodation and the food, to the service with a smile from everyone.   Superb better than some 5 star hotels could not find fault with anything. Great place for solitude with a good food serving pub 1/2 mile up the road. Lorraine was an excellent hostess.
