  The location, high on the headland within a couple of strides of the beach, fashion & surf shops and cafes. The staff are friendly and efficient. The spa is just what one expects from a brand new facility, although the pool could be larger for the serious swimmer. There is an outside pool which looks good although we did not test it. All in all we had a VERY relaxing and enjoyable stay, we will certa - Awesome historic building overlooking the sea but don't be put off. Room was very modern, heated bathroom floor and the best shower I've ever been in. Clearly renovated recently. Restaurants were good, great breakfast (overlooking the ocean) and dinner. Friendly enough staff. Little expensive but not overpriced. Would stay here again.

  St Mellion is a superb place to stay. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with in-room tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The health facilities and the golf course looked great too, albeit our stay was primarily to visit friends in the area and so we were not in the resort long enough during any day to take full advantage of even the swimmi... wat mensen zeggen » ng pools or the restaurant. Hopefully, we will be able to return in the future and will then plan to spend more time indoors and enjoy the pool etc. - Only on site for 10 hours (arrived late and left early) - but what I sore was all good. Breakfast options on the day start from approx £5 if you want tea and toast, lots of options up to the £12.50 full English which was very good. Spa looked great, would have loved to have spent more time there. The place was apparently full, I sore about 6 guests during my short stay and heard no one - very quiet. Beautiful surrounds.

  I was with my daughter and granddaughter who is 17months old. Our room was perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb and included in the price. If you are looking for a boutique type hotel this is not for you, but I would stay here over any boutique hotel. The setting was magnificent. Beautiful grounds and woodland... wat mensen zeggen » s. Even the walk back to the hotel from St Ives up the big hill was not enough to put me off going again. - The hotel was absolutely amazing! So friendly and had a lovely warm welcome and ports of smiles and politeness from all staff. Food was delicious and well presented. Our room was AMAZING, we had a beautiful view of the sea and the room was kept nice and clean everyday by the wonderful cleaning staff. We will be staying again with you in the future!   The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Friendly reception, free parking,had room 119 a twin with sea view to front and side , spacious well decorated with modern bathroom for £71 and a full English thrown in , me im not complaining.
