  Family owned by Father & Son managing a very attentive and professional team of staff with friendly attitudes who made our stay a real pleasure in a hotel with old world charm which provides all the facilities expected by the modern day traveler. Excellent restaurant in nice surroundings offering varied evening menus & used by locals whic... wat mensen zeggen » h always says a lot about the good quality food and value for money. Boscastle itself still retains its character, history and natural beauty whilst m - From the moment we arrived, we were looked after really well by attentive staff. They took us to our room, carried luggage, explained the wifi and advised about booking a table in the restaurant. The restaurant was lovely, and though we thought we'd eat elsewhere at least once, we ended up eating at the Riverside every single day. The menu is great and varied, and the food is of high quality. Something for everyone.

  We were welcomed with a cup of tea and biscuits after a long journey down from London. We loved the 'honour' bar system in the evening. The breakfast was delicious - all home made or local food. Beautiful view across the valley. The room was great - clean and very comfortable. The place was very quiet at night. Sharon and Nigel were two of the ... wat mensen zeggen » nicest people and couldn't do more for us. They run a great place and have an eye for little details that made our stay great (thanks guys!). We woul - Individual service and friendliness of owners, Very welcoming ,comfortable rooms and cosy guest sitting rooms. Breakfast excellent, local produce and home made bread & conserves. Had one evening meal which was delicious, again cooked using local produce .

  We were made to feel very much at home in this beautiful house. Everywhere you look there is something interesting which has been chosen and placed with an artist's eye for detail. However it is not so 'perfect' that it makes you feel awkward .. we felt completely relaxed. The breakfast was excellent and the lounge comfortable with many interestin... wat mensen zeggen » g books and maps. A lovely place to stay and one we will return to. - The summer house is a beautiful little hotel booked by my sister, wonderful rooms, really pretty with lots of lovely little details. Really nice owners happy to do anything for you and breakfast was memorable. Will definitely be staying again.

  If you want a formal 4/5 star environment, don't come to Lower Barn! It is informal, very friendly, eclectic in design and appearance - you could say "quirky" - and that isn't pejorative. Bright colours everywhere,clever ideas - .how many people would use a huge cable reel end as a dining table ? - on which we had excellent breakfasts Mike and Jan... wat mensen zeggen » ie were excellent hosts, friendly and informative, and cook some very enjoyable food. Read the description of the place and the rooms, what you read i - When we arived, everybody was so nice. (and the stayed nice all the time!) Our chamber was like a little house and we had a tv with some nice dvd's, so we could watch a movie (or two). The colors in the room were fantastic! Every little thing was designed and it was beautiful. We had dinner at the bed and breakfast. That was amazing! There was also an hot tub. lovely!
