We went to Port Wenn and left Port Isaac. For us it was the
quintessential Cornish Port town - so much more than what is portrayed
on the show. The location of the Slipway is, oddly enough, across the
lane from the slipway which means you get to wake up to the sound of the
sea and its gulls which is what you would expect from a seaside holiday.

Martin) . The village is very quaint and picturesque The hotel was small
and comfortable. The view of the harbor from the balcony in our room was
wonderful, The breakfast was outstanding and the hotel main menu was
very good. The owners and staff were very friendly and professional.

3 bedroom flat adjacent to pub meant plenty of room for our family, plus it was quiet since it wasn't directly above the pub. Beds were large and comfortable, plenty of pillows. Breakfast was included and it was fab. We had dinner at the pub as well and it was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly. We decided we wanted to stay an extra night and they worked out a spot for us!

We booked a suite and it was worth every penny, great views great room great breakfast.
We had a swim and had the pool to ourselves its a little dated and in need of some TLC but you would have to be a real winger to complain about this detail. The lifts worked fine but we opted to walk up the tastefully decorated stairs.

Stayed for a weekend in February 2013 and we enjoyed every minute. Hotel very welcoming, clean, nice and warm.
Restaurant is mega quirky and a joy to relax in.
Leisure area utilised, sauna excellent combined with dips in the pool (Which was a bit fresh!)
The breakfast was - delicious. Plenty of choice to be had both hot and cold.
All in all a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will book again without hesitation!

We were going on holiday to St Ives and decided to travel on the Friday night with an overnight stop nearby, instead of Saturday morning to beat the traffic jams. Arrived here to friendly reception at about 11.30pm with drinks brought to room. Rooms were smart, breakfast enjoyable, dining area had outside terrace with views and location was absolutely perfect for our travel plans. Would recommend to anyone doing what we did.

Our room was very clean and whilst not too large it suited us well enough. Lovely bathroom and shower. There was a wide selection of food for breakfast: yoghurt, fresh fruit, preserves, cereals, toast and cooked. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would certainly return. -

Genuinely the best guest house we've ever stayed in. Excellent location, easy walk to newquay centre, fistral beach or other beaches. Accommodation is modern, very clean and lacks nothing. Breakfast was to the standard of any five star hotel that we've stayed in. The owners are very pleasant and cannot do enough to please. The Artist Residence is a cosy and lovely hotel. Rooms are comfortable, clean, full of details and nice decorated (each room by a different artist). Breakfast is excellent and staff is really helpful and efficient. Its location - in a quiet street - is excellent for those using public transports, as the hotel is close to the railway and bus station. Very good value for money.

The owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met at a B&B. You get a full English Breakfast that is very good as well as fresh fruit, cereal, and yogurt. There is a park across the road for kids to play and the beach is very close. I would take a car or bus to the beach when traveling with small children as the hill is very steep. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. Amazing people and very patient with our young children.

Extremely well presented hotel and I love the period decor and the ornate wood paneling in the dining room. Breakfast buffet was very good, and the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were extremely clean. It was a very relaxing place to be. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Trenython Manor. When we have reason to be in that part of Cornwall in the future it is likely that we will use your hotel again. Happy customers. Steve and Donna

Travelled specifically to Port Isaac to visit the 'Doc'! Big
Australian Doc Martin fans. Village was quaint and to make it even more
special, they were in the middle of filming the new series!!! The
proximity from The Longcross Hotel to the harbour was perfect. The short
drive gave you a real feel for the beautiful Cornwall countryside. As
for hotel itself, we found it to be excellent, if not a little
'quirky'! Had a very homely feel, meals were excellent and staff
