  Prima bed, prima ontbijt. Knus en huiselijk hotel. Vriendelijk personeel. - Hotel was excellent, very comfortable, good staff, nice breakfast. I will use this hotel again when next visiting Falmouth - The owner made us very welcome and will be certain to visit again.

  The whole friendly atmosphere was very reasurring and comforting. We enjoyed the company and the surroundings and ease of travelling to otehr centres and scenic spots. The food at The Beacon was superb, and I have to say the best scrambled eggs with mushrooms that we had any where in the UK while travelling. Delicious.   We loved the atmosphere, the breakfast was perfect, the bed was very comfy, location and history added to our time there, did I mention the food....surf and turf needs renaming but was just what I ordered, sticky toffee pudding although not homemade was smothered in clotted cream and was spot on, all in all we felt relaxed after a long flight and ... wat mensen zeggen » long drive, Carlsberg was clear and fresh, bar area was as advertised but chef should change the oil as it did smell like a chippy on sunday but other - We always stay at Jamaica Inn when we are en route to St. Ives - which we have done in all seasons and in all weathers. The setting on beautiful,wild Bodmin Moor is romantic and atmospheric but extremely handy just off the A30. Warm and cosy inside, Manager Steve and his staff always make you more than welcome. Rooms are comfortable and squeaky clean and you can be sure of a very good breakfast the next day!

  The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Friendly reception, free parking,had room 119 a twin with sea view to front and side , spacious well decorated with modern bathroom for £71 and a full English thrown in , me im not complaining.   I was bowled over by the friendliness and team-spirited nature of ALL of the staff I met - and also by their constant willingness to assist. Moreover, everyone was particularly welcoming to my two children (boys aged 14 and 11); which always makes a real difference to the holiday experience. I came away with the impression that everyone I encounte... wat mensen zeggen » red seemed to be genuinely happy working at Hotel California and this contributed greatly to a pleasant and laid-back ambience. All in all, I wished I - I originally picked the Hotel California because I liked the name, wanted to stay in Newquay and the price is a good value. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Interiors are beautiful. The dining room had lots of windows, so you can enjoy the scenery while dining. Beautiful view of the bay from the outside deck. The outdoor pool looked inviting, but the temperature was little to cool for me to try it. If I get a chance to go back to the U.K., I will definitely stay at the Hotel California

  I stayed overnight at the Wellington Hotel whilst hiking on the coastal path. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is right in the very picturesque village of Boscastle. The coast path practically runs through the hotel! The Wellington Hotel is a gorgeous old building. However, the rooms have been kept nicely up-to-date. I had a great even... wat mensen zeggen » ing meal in the bar, and the included breakfast was excellent (with lots of choices). - Our hotel, the Wellington is the place to stay if you want a quiet relaxing break. The 4 window aspect was amazing, well worth paying that little bit extra for turret rooms 1st/2nd floor,comfortable bed, luxurious bedding, Eco toileteries, happy friendly staff, great food. This hotel is a must visit/stay if you need to relax and unwind.

  The room which had recently been refurbished was excellent. The bed was comfortable, the decor bright, modern and tasteful and the shower was easy to use. The restaurant and bar retained a Cornish village inn ambiance. The menu in the restaurant had plenty of choice. The food was well cooked, well presented and reasonably priced. Beautiful views over the sea. Set in a lovely fishing village. Hotel has a good bar with a range of Cornish Real Ales. The staff are very friendly. All in all a good place to stay

  Great Location to see all the major Towns and sights in Cornwall & Devon / Plymouth.The Pine cabin we hired was great value and accommodated 4 adults and two children comfortably.It was a pleasure to come back to after each days sightseeing adventures.The heated pool was also a great way to end the day with the Grandchildren.They loved it &... wat mensen zeggen » ; looked forward to their swim after a full days sightseeing. - I loved the location. We were well based for Padstow, Polzeath, Newquay, Port Isaac and King Arthurs Castle. The site is lovely and quiet and the swimming pool was warm. The Gold Caravan was spotless and had everything we could have needed. The onsite pub is only open from six however the food is lovely , generous sized portions. The childrens meals are especially good value.
