  The whole friendly atmosphere was very reasurring and comforting. We enjoyed the company and the surroundings and ease of travelling to otehr centres and scenic spots. The food at The Beacon was superb, and I have to say the best scrambled eggs with mushrooms that we had any where in the UK while travelling. Delicious. When we come back to Cornwall, we will come and stay there again* - Made to feel very special by our hosts and their family. Beautiful location and fabulous food. Easy access to both north and south coasts, plenty of parking and rooms very comfortable. Value for money, will return one day.

  The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Ive always found the staff polite, friendly and helpful. - Nice ... wat mensen zeggen » hotel in a fabulous position ,2 great beaches and the town a strole away. Friendly reception, free parking,had room 119 a twin with sea view to front and side , spacious well decorated with modern bathroom for £71 and a full English thrown in , me im not complaining.   The welcome we received on arrival was excellent the breakfast was plentlfull and good (including the scrambled egg)a parking spot was provided although it did not come with room package,Many thanks to Bev and Ian for making our stay a pleasant one - The Hollies was beautifully situated.   A very welcoming stay, comfortable in the family room for 2 adults + 2 children, with private shower & spa bath, close to beaches and Newquay's facilities and airport. For high summer season a budget friendly price for a family of 4, with superb full breakfast included, and very personable owner/staff who went out of her way to ensure the "per... wat mensen zeggen » fect stay". Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return again for our family holiday in Newquay. - The owner and manager of the Aquarius B&B was extremely good at giving us all the help we needed, from trying to find the B&B in the dark and driving rain to what to expect on our first surfing experience. She is good at making you feel comfortable whatever time of day it is, and nothing was too much trouble. The spa bath that came with our room was fantastic, as was the breakfasts. The rooms are bright and comfortable beds.

  I was bowled over by the friendliness and team-spirited nature of ALL of the staff I met - and also by their constant willingness to assist. Moreover, everyone was particularly welcoming to my two children (boys aged 14 and 11); which always makes a real difference to the holiday experience. I came away with the impression that everyone I encounte... wat mensen zeggen » red seemed to be genuinely happy working at Hotel California and this contributed greatly to a pleasant and laid-back ambience. All in all, I wished I - I originally picked the Hotel California because I liked the name, wanted to stay in Newquay and the price is a good value. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Interiors are beautiful. The dining room had lots of windows, so you can enjoy the scenery while dining. Beautiful view of the bay from the outside deck. The outdoor pool looked inviting, but the temperature was little to cool for me to try it. If I get a chance to go back to the U.K., I will definitely stay at the Hotel California

  I stayed overnight at the Wellington Hotel whilst hiking on the coastal path. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is right in the very picturesque village of Boscastle. The coast path practically runs through the hotel! The Wellington Hotel is a gorgeous old building. However, the rooms have been kept nicely up-to-date. I had a great even... wat mensen zeggen » ing meal in the bar, and the included breakfast was excellent (with lots of choices). - Our hotel, the Wellington is the place to stay if you want a quiet relaxing break. The 4 window aspect was amazing, well worth paying that little bit extra for turret rooms 1st/2nd floor,comfortable bed, luxurious bedding, Eco toileteries, happy friendly staff, great food. This hotel is a must visit/stay if you need to relax and unwind.

  GREAT location for Newquay beaches and South West Coast Path. A lovely B&B with friendly hosts. Room was clean, cosy, spacious and very well equipped. Breakfast was generous and set me up for the day. Importantly for me (as a solo traveller) I felt safe and welcomed. An honest British B&B with homely touches. I will look forward to visitin... wat mensen zeggen » g again. - Cindy and Ashley were so genuinely welcoming and friendly. The room was uniquely decorated, comfortable and clean and the breakfast was superb. We were given great advice on the locality and where to eat etc. Cindy's ducks are well loved and cared for.   The room which had recently been refurbished was excellent. The bed was comfortable, the decor bright, modern and tasteful and the shower was easy to use. The restaurant and bar retained a Cornish village inn ambiance. The menu in the restaurant had plenty of choice. The food was well cooked, well presented and reasonably priced. Breakfast wa... wat mensen zeggen » s cooked to order so was hot and nicely cooked. Location was perfect - right next to the harbour and sea. - Good clean comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful views over the sea. Set in a lovely fishing village. Hotel has a good bar with a range of Cornish Real Ales. The staff are very friendly. All in all a good place to stay
