  The skill of the staff was immediately apparent as we arrived and our suitcases were quickly delivered to our room without fuss whilst we checked in. Unobtrusive yet always there is the hallmark here and we were waited on with charm and humour throughout our stay. Add a simply lovely location with commanding views, imaginative and beautifully tend... wat mensen zeggen » ed grounds and very comfortable and spotless rooms and you can see why they win awards year after year. Food is also outstanding so it's hard to imagi - The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and courteous during our stay. From the moment we entered the hotel they treated us like very special guests on a very special occasion. On top of the excellent accommodation (we had a seaside view superior room) the food was also delicious, presented in a very elegant and sophisticated way. Thank you All!

  The location, high on the headland within a couple of strides of the beach, fashion & surf shops and cafes. The staff are friendly and efficient. The spa is just what one expects from a brand new facility, although the pool could be larger for the serious swimmer. There is an outside pool which looks good although we did not test it. All in all we had a VERY relaxing and enjoyable stay, we will certa - Awesome historic building overlooking the sea but don't be put off. Room was very modern, heated bathroom floor and the best shower I've ever been in. Clearly renovated recently. Restaurants were good, great breakfast (overlooking the ocean) and dinner. Friendly enough staff. Little expensive but not overpriced. Would stay here again.

  The hotel was well designed and the situation could not have been better, sat above the beach at Mawgan Porth, with spectacular views. The facilities were good and the rooms comfortable & well appointed. The food in the restaurant was expensive but delicious.   A wonderful location almost on the beach. Very friendly staff and good food. A marvellous old building with a lively pub bar that was warmed by an open fire. It was frequented by locals and guests though the noise could not be heard from our room. It was an atmosphere that encouraged people to talk. We could have eaten in the restaurant area bu... wat mensen zeggen » t chose to eat in the pub. We could choose from either restaurant or pub menu, and we much preferred the atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable a - This is a quintessential 'little' Cornish Hotel, few have survived the ravages of recession and poor summers, but this is well run. It has a fabulous location close to Port Isaac, but away from the 'trippers' that you tend to get there. The staff are lovely and the management could not be more helpful. Walks from here are endless and varied, if you like the rugged Cornish coast this is a 'must'.

  Beautiful building. We had a lovely room in the main building with a great view. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Facilities for our 23 month old were excellent including childens tea which made being away with a little one very easy. We didn't use the crèche but would have done if we'd stayed longer. Baby listening was great as it gives paren... wat mensen zeggen » ts the chance for freedom with dinner & a drink. Staff are a pretty young team who try really hard to make things work. Fowey is a lovely little t - The Fowey Hall hotel was amazing! The staff is attentive, friendly and very helpful. The suite was clean and comfortable every day of our stay. Children are welcome and provided recreational activities indoors and outdoors. Breakfast was wonderful, my girls miss Cherish, the greatest waitress! Overall our stay was amazing in this beautiful former Hanson mansion. Still maintaining it's character and 19th century charm. We will definitely visit again.

  The staff Dean and Sam were fabulous. We took my husbands parents there for my mother in laws 60th. No ask was too great. It's a beautiful place with stunning grounds and views. It has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, the rooms are traditional with a nice contemporary twist. Hot water was plentiful in the bathrooms and water pre... wat mensen zeggen » ssure was fabulous. Every room we booked was clean and each day the staff did our rooms ready for us after breakfast. Couldn't fault the place and wou - We had a wonderful stay at Pentillie Castle the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location is superb, we cannot find anything negative to say. A first class stay in every way.
