  We booked a suite and it was worth every penny, great views great room great breakfast. We had a swim and had the pool to ourselves its a little dated and in need of some TLC but you would have to be a real winger to complain about this detail. The lifts worked fine but we opted to walk up the tastefully decorated stairs. Breakfast - Stayed for a weekend in February 2013 and we enjoyed every minute. Hotel very welcoming, clean, nice and warm. Restaurant is mega quirky and a joy to relax in. Leisure area utilised, sauna excellent combined with dips in the pool (Which was a bit fresh!) The breakfast was - delicious. Plenty of choice to be had both hot and cold. All in all a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will book again without hesitation!

  The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Friendly reception, free parking,had room 119 a twin with sea view to front and side , spacious well decorated with modern bathroom for £71 and a full English thrown in , me im not complaining.   The location, high on the headland within a couple of strides of the beach, fashion & surf shops and cafes. The staff are friendly and efficient. The spa is just what one expects from a brand new facility, although the pool could be larger for the serious swimmer. There is an outside pool which looks good although we did not test it. All in all we had a VERY relaxing and enjoyable stay, we will certa - Awesome historic building overlooking the sea but don't be put off. Room was very modern, heated bathroom floor and the best shower I've ever been in. Clearly renovated recently. Restaurants were good, great breakfast (overlooking the ocean) and dinner. Friendly enough staff. Little expensive but not overpriced. Would stay here again.

  I was bowled over by the friendliness and team-spirited nature of ALL of the staff I met - and also by their constant willingness to assist. Moreover, everyone was particularly welcoming to my two children (boys aged 14 and 11); which always makes a real difference to the holiday experience. I came away with the impression that everyone I encounte... wat mensen zeggen » red seemed to be genuinely happy working at Hotel California and this contributed greatly to a pleasant and laid-back ambience. All in all, I wished I - I originally picked the Hotel California because I liked the name, wanted to stay in Newquay and the price is a good value. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Interiors are beautiful. The dining room had lots of windows, so you can enjoy the scenery while dining. Beautiful view of the bay from the outside deck. The outdoor pool looked inviting, but the temperature was little to cool for me to try it. If I get a chance to go back to the U.K., I will definitely stay at the Hotel California

  Beautiful building. We had a lovely room in the main building with a great view. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Facilities for our 23 month old were excellent including childens tea which made being away with a little one very easy. We didn't use the crèche but would have done if we'd stayed longer. Baby listening was great as it gives paren... wat mensen zeggen » ts the chance for freedom with dinner & a drink. Staff are a pretty young team who try really hard to make things work. Fowey is a lovely little t - The Fowey Hall hotel was amazing! The staff is attentive, friendly and very helpful. The suite was clean and comfortable every day of our stay. Children are welcome and provided recreational activities indoors and outdoors. Breakfast was wonderful, my girls miss Cherish, the greatest waitress! Overall our stay was amazing in this beautiful former Hanson mansion. Still maintaining it's character and 19th century charm. We will definitely visit again.

  When you drive into Greenacres you get an great feeling about the place straight away, it looks so lovely, then you open the cottage door and everything is just perfect, clean, everything you need for self catering. The bedding and towels are also very clean (this is always something i worry about when staying way). The indoor pool is a bonus. In v good decorative order and nicely furnished. Added bonus of a shared swimming pool, hot tub and log fire. Location was excellent, with lovely views over quiet countryside, but within easy reach of shops and restaurants in Lostwithiel.
