The hotel is in a quiet rural location and is full of charm and character. The rooms are comfortable and cosy, with the facilities of a more modern establishment. We received a warm and friendly welcome and everything was done to make our stay extremely enjoyable. Breakfast was superb. -

Bank house is a beautiful period property and the owners have gone to great lengths to get the decor and furnishings just right. The food was outstanding, we class ourselves as 'foodies' and were certainly not disappointed, the menu was extensive and the fresh fruit salad on your table was a lovely addition. The owners are very friendly, helpful people who go to great lengths to make your stay as pleasurable as possible, from the homemade bread and cakes to being just lovely people. Would recom

My wife and I stayed a few nights at The Ashberry Guest House. it is ideally located for both Penrith town centre and the North Lakes, northern M6 area. The owners are very helpful but not overbearing. The guest house itself is very modern, clean and comfortable. And the full English breakfast was very nice. Overall a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend it.
