  The Lakeside was well located in Oxford---within walking distance to most of the colleges, museum, etc., but outside of the hustle and bustle of Oxford proper, so was a bit more quiet. The proprietor, Gabriella is charming and helpful. The breakfast was very good, cooked to order, plentiful: something for all tastes. Should we return to Oxford, we will definitely stay at the Lakeside Guesthouse. - Very helpful owners who went out of their way to make our stay excellent. The room was very comfortable; breakfast was varied and generous. Really appreciated the central heating in the mornings and evenings and the exceptionally hot shower ! Close to city centre. We are in our 70sand we could walk there in 10 mins.

  We stayed at the Dial House for two nights. It was not planned trip and was a last minute booking. We could not have asked for more. The family were wonderful, really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. I will certainly be staying there again. If you need a base close to the John Radcliffe Hospital, this is ideal as it is just 2 minutes i... wat mensen zeggen » n a car. Bus stops right outside. Ideal location for popping in to the City centre too. - The cleanliness.Having previously tried two other guest houses in Oxford over the years. Lovely bathroom,comfortable bed,nice size room. Will stay again when in Oxford.

  This was a good, value-for-money, small, city hotel. The owner had designed both the bedrooms and public areas imaginatively, maximising the limited space. A pleasant ambiance.
