Have nothing bad to say about my say here. Compared to the price of other central hotels this was a half to a third of the price and right next to the shopping centre. I had read poor reviews so was hesitant at first but couldn't afford the £100+ prices other hotels charge mid week. However my stay was faultless- clean modern room , nice decor throughout the house and easy parking. Would stay again. alle beoordelingen »
It was exactly what we wanted and we enjoyed our stay very much. The
room was spacious, clean, warm and well ventilated. The television was
very good and we had easy access to subtitles. The staff were organised,
polite and helpful. They communicated well and were reliable. Parking
was convenient.
The location was brilliant, just a 2 minute walk across to the huge shopping centre, restaurants, cinema etc, our room was nice, top floor with bathroom next to it, big walk in shower, garden that was a perfect little sun trap and the staff were nice.
The Location was perfect, right next to City Centre Milton Keynes.Lovely staff, the room in House 48 No 1 was really big and had a great TV. Wifi for free big clean kitchen with free coffee or tea. Shared clean bathroom, would always come back there.
Price/quality wise this was a great place to stay. The house in
which the room was located was also well kept and tidy. The communal
bathroom as well as the kitchen was also clean.

Close to the city, nice clean spacious rooms. I liked the fact that there was a kitchen and dining room, made the place feel more homey and comfortable.

Very central location - 5 mins walk to the theatre. Having a kitchen was great for self catering or a quick breakfast.Good shower room upstairs.
The staff, the location and the price, plus we could rent the whole house with four bedrooms.

letsbookhotel.com did not highlight the fact that the bathroom was shared. The
main problem for us was that the bathroom was on a different floor and
the stairs were steep with no hand rail. One of our party was in her
late 80s so we would not have booked this had we known. I think the
website should make it clear that access is difficult.
Window in room was broken so wouldn't stay open, shower was blocked so nearly overflowed, only 1 shower towel to use, lucky we had our own with us, blind that pulled over the other window was very dirty and dusty and wouldn't stay up so it took a few attempts. Place was pretty hard to find, no apparent sign saying 'City Centre Rooms', took about 20 minutes driving and walking round in circles before a staff member found us! However she let us go upto the room a few hours early before check in.
No sign really showing the CCR in the dark.Not easy to find, smelled of cigarette downstairs.
It is a room in a house, which means there was some noise coming from
the other rooms.
Lack of parking spaces. I understand its on a first come first serve basis, however, i think there should be more free parking available to people who are staying, or maybe even a parking permit for those staying.

be careful when booking. I thought we were staying in Cambridge as I searched for Cambridge accommodation. I never expected another city to come back in the results. so in the end our accommodation was booked for the wrong City!.
We stayed in number 48 (city rooms have several houses on the same street)
its looking rather tired, old paint work/wall paper and carpets stained.
The bedding and towels need updating.
the clothes washer was out of order and there could be a better selection of dishes and cutlery.
it wasn't made clear that this is a shared house with others and sharing the bathroom etc...
The matress wasn't comfortable and the accommodation was something like student digs or a youth hostel. Ideal for backpackers and students but not for a budget comfort break.
If u wish to go back to ur school days with rules then this is the place
to go owner very rude and unhelpful.

It's the first time for me to live in a room with leekage on the roof. you have not idea that how poor the room is decorated. You can clearly heard the phone rings, speakings and every kind of noise from other rooms. And you know what, when you know the truth that you're fooled by the hotel, you cannot never refund the money!!.
