  The room was great, very nice en-suite; the host were very nice and the breakfast was awesome! We even were able to get some washing done, which was great after being on the road for a few weeks already.. There was nothing we didn't like! - The location was perfect for acess to Loch Lomond, for walks and for bus/train connections for travel furth... wat mensen zeggen » er afield. The hosts were on hand when required but not obtrusive. Breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.

  The owner of the cottage was lovely, very friendly on the phone and in person, and made us feel very welcome. The facilities were excellent, everything you needed was there, everything worked, and the cottage was spotless. Excellent base for Loch Lomond, 5 minute drive to Luss, 10 minutes to Balloch. If I am up this area again we would go out of our way to stay here because it is that good!

  As we only stayed 1 night en route to the far North we don't feel we could make a valid judgement but we did enjoy our stay and the friendly welcome we got along with a hearty breakfast.   The hotel was in a lovely location, a perfect break before travelling further into Scotland. The welcome was genuinely friendly and all staff were very helpful. Although not included in the price of room our £8 Full Scottish breakfast was plentiful and the Haggis was lovely. Rooms were very comfortable having been recently updated, contemporary, stylish, clean and with the oak skirting boards and door jambs etc - the location was stupendous and we had probably the best room in the hotel for the view - the room was both spacious and comfortable and kept spotlessly clean - many of the staff were young but very professional and polite - the hotel itself was very quirky in its layout but we kind of liked that - the food we had at t-he hotel was OK nothing really to complain about but also nothing exceptional - the cullen skink however was delicious - however if we stay here again we will be mindful of the c

  * staff were friendly * comfortable bed * nice hot shower *breakfast in bar area which is lovely as has lots of F1 memorabilia * close to main area for castle, shops etc - We loved our stay! Steve was so friendly and the rooms were so cozy and warm. It was an excellent location to se the lake area and walk around in the country park!
