  The location was excellent, right around the corner from Pimlico tube station. We were on the ground floor apartment 3 at the back of the building so no stairs to climb. It was really quiet at night which is unusual in London. Everything we needed was there expect possibly a hairdryer but I took my own anyway. We did our own breakfast so the fridg... wat mensen zeggen » e, toaster etc was just right. We loved the white shutters on the windows. The bedding was excellent, with feather pillows and duvet. It woud have bee - The flat was well organised and warm during what was a very cold spell in London. The location was ideal, despite a murder on the road outside whilst we were there, and the local area lovely. The television and internet were excellent.

  I'll start by saying that I saw my parents' hotel in Mayfair, The Millenium, which is supposed to be upscale...which it was, but for double the price, their room was only slightly larger than ours at the Hyde Park Boutique. It was clean, and included lovely coffees and teas in the room (for some reason, in european cities, the instant coffees tas... wat mensen zeggen » te so much more fresh than here in the U.S.) The staff wasn't warm and fuzzy, but they were very helpful and accomodating. The hotel is located near - I stayed two times in the same hotel within a week, once for 5 days and once for one night only. It is very important what room you will have, there are major differences in quality. This review is about the single room on the fourth flour which I had for 5 nights: the hotel is newly done, everything is clean and in top state.   A new Hotel, excellent location for our needs, a short walk to Aldgate East tube, the staff so friendly and helpful. We took a short taxi ride to Tower Pier and went on the Thames from Tower Bridge to Westminster.
