Communicative hosts: emailed us before hand to send us directions to the cottage. A warm welcome with welsh cakes and some of their organic hen's eggs. A beautiful place, cosy cottage, close to amenities like Llandrindod Wells's shops and Kington's quirky grocers and cafes, as well as the famous Stagg at Titley which we treated ourselves to (but had to save-up for lol)
We had some great walks on the back hills and the bridle ways, and also visited Ludlow and its food centre. Mid-Wales is a gr. alle beoordelingen »
Beautiful countryside surrounding, very friendly and welcoming owners, beautiful cosy peaceful cottage. Eggs and cakes a nice welcoming touch and the birdlife right outside the window is a treat to see. Lots of things to do locally including fishing and visiting the red-kite centre, walking opportunities and lots to do in the local spa town.Time your visit right and you may get to sample the chocolates and confectionery handcrafted by the owners and available to buy to take home with you!!
Wel.
The location was amazing with stunning views. Getting to feed the birds every morning and the silence and darkness at night was wonderful. It was a home from home and the best feeling ever being able to snuggle Infront of the log burner. The handmade decorations and furniture were beautiful and the facilities had everything needed to cook, clean, entertain and relax. A perfect getaway.
The scenery, the tranquility, beautiful countryside and our cosy cottage of course and fresh eggs and Welsh Cakes from Alexandra and Barry.
Almost everything. A very warm welcome from the owners. Terrific views, complete relaxation.
We love the location, the wildness of the cottage a real get away....
Bed was good, location was good for us.
All was fine for us - had we any complaints we would have told them at the time - no point doing it when it is too late!.
If I had to say one thing it would be that the towels were a little rough for me, however, my partner was fine with them. Its more a personal preference.
Not recommended for a motorbike in snowy or icy weather due to the last bit being quite a steep hill.
The front door that wouldn't open fully, no laundry, dangerous
stairway, no fresh towels or rubbish removed. A room rate of something
like £60 per night would reflect the offer more fairly. Gps coordinates
were some 300 yards short of the destination which meant we had to go
back and ask neighbours for directions.
